Taxi fare to and from the train station 900 yen per trip, not expensive.
I used to try to walk from the station to the hotel by visiting Hotaka Shrine and continue walking along the waterway.
Open Google map to navigate with you, not lost, and it is a pleasant route.
The hotel itself is not new. But clean, available lay out of a strange twin room.
But personally, I like it very much, because it has mutual privacy.
The windows of every room overlook the Japanese Alps
Breakfast is set. Choose Japanese or western style.
It's delicious to be laid out and tastes good too.
Next to the hotel, there is a take away food shop called hottomotto, delicious and cost-effective.
Or walking to the other way, there is a community mall with super market, Muji and Mc Donald.
The owner of the accommodation, both female and male, are lovely, hospitable and communicate in English.

Met our basic need since we stay only for less than 8 hours.
Although outside temperature around 7-10, our room liitle bit too warmer, will be better if any AC not only for heater.

Less than 5 minutes walk from JR station, my moderate twin room is very spacious and comes with a work desk. Beddings are very comfortable and plenty of amenities are provided. They even have complimentary supper service at night. We didn't get to try the breakfast but they look great with a lot of varieties. This is a great place to stay in Matsumoto.

Located less than 3 minutes away from the highway bus station exit, it is also very convenient to walk to Matsumoto Station.
The hotel room is just the right size for one person, and the room is very clean.
Although I requested a non-smoking room, I felt a bit smoky when I first entered the room. So I sprayed a lot of deodorizing fragrance spray on my own.
The morning meals are delicious, and if you are in a hurry, the service of packing breakfast is also very good.
The hotel counter staff and restaurant staff are very friendly and the service quality is good.

I chose this hotel in front of the station for the next day to use a car rental. It is a hotel of the Alpico Transportation Group. The receptionist is on the 2 floor. Check-in requires a machine hand input by yourself, and all payments, card keys and breakfast tickets are out of the machine. So payment is prepaid. It depends on the way of thinking whether it is troublesome or convenient. 1 person 8000 yen with breakfast. There was Wi-Fi, the room and the bathroom were clean and the bed was comfortable and there was no particular dissatisfaction. There are also restaurants and taverns in front of the station for dinner, so there is no worry.

The name of Marunouchi is in Matsumoto Castle. The hotel is quite large with three windows. There is a sofa and coffee table at the corner. The area where the tea is rested is separated from the bedroom. The clerk was very enthusiastic. At noon, he took us to the opposite gift shop to buy wooden dolls and Xinzhou specialty products. It is not about 15 minutes from the JR station. When I leave the store, I choose a taxi in the hot weather, but it is JPY880. It is also a 15-minute walk from the Matsumoto City Art Museum and a special exhibition of Yayoi Yayoi’s birthplace.

I used it for a family trip during the spring break. There is a charge because I came by car, but I was able to park in the parking lot and go sightseeing at Matsumoto Castle and Matsumoto Station. It's a good walk course. The parking lot and the front desk 々 were all kind. The room was newly renewed so it was very clean and I was grateful that almost all the equipment I needed was available. The breakfast at Gust was delicious. I would like to stay when I visit Nagano Prefecture from now on

There was a banquet at the facility and stayed at the dog cottage with a dog (toy poodle). The cooking set was perfect and it was the best to do even a slow BBQ. ”Don't feed wild monkeys”, ”Attention to monkeys and bears”, etc., are wild environments. I also witnessed giant foxes and foxes. It is a little .... that bed making is self. I was also worried that it was too close to the next building. There was a free ticket for the public bath in this building, but it was too early to end at 21:30, and it was 10:00 ～ (check out at 10 o'clock) in the morning, and I want you to do something more.

Kkeith12015the staff at the front desk and the staff at the dining room were really kind and cozy. i'll tell you the following. １． The next morning of the stay, when I tell the front desk to leave by an early train, I'll call the dining room. I changed the breakfast time from 7:30 to 7:00. Thank you. ２． I wanted to put salt on the table in the dining room. I didn't have two cups of tea bowls, and I wanted to increase a little more. ３． I stayed in a twin room on the 2 floor, but the step with the bathroom was large I wanted to write a note. ４． The morning bath was from 6 o'clock, but it was not 6 o'clock, and the door in the hallway on the way to the bath was not opened. Can't you open it before 6 o'clock? Waiting until it opens is lonely. On the other hand, the entrance door of the dining room was open before 7 o'clock.

This is a residence in a Buddhist temple. The abbot is a Korean, and the Master’s name has no manifestation;
The meals provided by the temple are mainly Korean. The Korean aunts are very enthusiastic. Although I can’t speak Chinese, Japanese or English, the communication is barrier-free and can almost meet all our requirements.
Because the location was a bit off, we arrived late and couldn't get a taxi. I called the nearest small train station nearby. When Ctrip got what I needed, Master Fa Xian specially drove us to pick us up. Auntie had already had dinner. In the case of time, it still provides us with very delicious meals;
If you believe in Buddhism or not, it is highly recommended that you stay for a few days
