Hotel Aires Bacalar

Beautiful, clean and comfortable hotel. Our room for 4 was spacious and equipped with everything necessary. Little extra: the hammock on the terrace. The swimming pool is not very big but it has a jacuzzi. I have read quite a few comments about the noise: I confirm, it is very noisy in the evening because there is live music playing in a nearby restaurant. Instead of complaining, we decided to go there to dance. Even with young children it’s super nice. Small point of improvement: the wifi is really bad

Room n°2. Filled with humidity with the smell that goes with it, marks on the walls... A lot of noise. Very uncomfortable bedding. Swimming pool much smaller than it appears in the photos. We stayed there one night instead of the two planned and paid for. No commercial gesture. Positive points: the view from the rooftop, the lunch and the location.

No soundproofing, indeed well placed but the music until 2 a.m. to sleep is not pleasant. Of course the hotel provides the crates. (I don't like sleeping with it). It's a shame. And we didn't have any hot water for 2 days. That!! That pissed me off... Disappointing. If we could have canceled the reservation we would have done so.

This eco hotel is located 10 minutes walk from the main square of Bacalar, a seaside town in the south of the Yucatán that overlooks the 7-color lagoon. All the rooms face south-east (if you are an early riser you can enjoy the sunrise from bed or from the hammock on the terrace) My room was quite large with a queen-size bed with a sofa built into the wall which could have been the third bed. The furniture with iron and wood structures is functional, very pleasant and minimalist. 'it's television however the mini bar is very well stocked The hotel does not offer a restaurant service but with all the places just a few hundred meters away you are spoiled for choice The girl at reception is kind and very helpful, she showed me places where eat, the ATMs, helped me in choosing and booking excursions (with more options)) The swimming pool is not very large but you certainly don't step on it This hotel also has a partially covered panoramic terrace with chairs, tables and hammocks with a view of the whole the lagoon

The facilities are very good, their shampoo smells delicious. We had a very pleasant stay because of all the staff who are very attentive, but above all because of the attention of Yessica who made our visit very happy and with great attention. We definitely recommend it and hope to return soon.
