Di passaggio dopo anni a Bad Bellingen, decido di fermarmi in questo posto dove ho mangiato 11 anni fa, questo volta dormendoci anche. Il paesino è una bomboniera, sempre tutto perfetto, pulito, ordinato, naturalmente più di 2 giorni non ci si può stare a meno che non ci si muova spesso. L'hotel purtroppo è stato un classico caso di luci e ombre, facciata bellissima, tipica della zona, stanza grande, mansardata, funzionale, bagno decente, ma la moquette è inguardabile... la sensazione di sporco era evidente, 2 piani di scale a chiocciola con i bagagli non sono proprio il massimo... alle 16 l'albergo era ancora chiuso nonostante avessi avvisato che sarei arrivato attorno le 15, la cena è stata buona ma il personale è stato abbastanza sgarbato negando del ghiaccio a mia moglie che aveva preso una piccola contusione, per fortuna la signorina alla reception il mattino dopo ce lo ha dato, colazione un pò sotto la media, credo ci siano in zona strutture migliori.

Hier stimmt einfach alles. Von der freundlichen und aufmerksamenen Bedienung bis hin zum Essen für 3-Geneartionen. Es war einfach nur lecker. Alleine die Saucen bei den Kindermenüs lassen die Glückshormone Purzelbäume schlagen. Das hat dazu geführt, dass sich mein Sohn beim Kellner perönlich für das leckere Essen bedankt hat. Das habe ich noch nie erlebt. Und die Krönung des Ganzen ist, das der Besuch ungeplant war. Hingetrieben hat uns der Hunger. Wir kommen wieder. Versprochen.

Kwamen kort na 18:00 uur aan en op de balie lag een kistje met invulformulier, onze naam en kamersleutel erin. (privacy?) Mooie kamer met balkon en volledig gerenoveerde badruimte. Het diner was uitstekend. Het ontbijt in de vorm van buffetvorm was uitgebreid en alle ingredienten waren voldoende aanwezig.

Stayed a few days at this property and thoroughly enjoyed it! Not luxurious but comfortable rooms and very functional indeed, as well as clean. A wholesome breakfast. The restaurant is highly recommended. The owner couple take pride in what they do and one of them is always around to talk to. Walking distance from the kur and the beautiful park. Walking distance from the train station, but trains are not very frequent!

On the plus side the staff were helpful and the restaurant served good food at a reasonable price. Unfortunately the hotel lacked atmosphere and one suspects is mostly used by people on business. The restaurant was busy, a good refection of local support rather than relying on hotel guests. Reasonably priced dishes which the chef was happy to tweak to meet customer’s requests. The rooms are simple but lack any air conditioning which on a hot and humid night was challenging, to say the least.

Grote kamer en badkamer wel gedateerd maar netjes en schoon. Wij kwamen laat toen de receptie al gesloten was je krijgt dan een code voor de sleutel. Het ontbijt was echt heel erg uitgebreid en goed. Jammer genoeg was het restaurant 's avonds gesloten maar hebben goed gegeten in een stube vlakbij
