Palais Bad Ragaz

Grand Resort内にいくつかあるうちの一つのホテル。快適。Spaエリア、プール、サウナ最高。裏手にあるPublic Spaもホテルゲストは無料で利用できる。フィットネスセンターもまあまあ揃っている。ルームメイドや清掃スタッフは素晴らしい。ホテル内の全てのレストランはクオリティが高い。Europe圏外のビジターは変換プラグは必須。部屋に足りないものはUSBドック。今の時代、USBドックは備え付けが必要。

It takes about 70 minutes by train from Zurich Airport Station. The view was nice in a comfortable car. When you get off Bad Ragaz station and try to take a taxi to the hotel, you can't get through even if you say "Palais". Just say "Grand Resort" and you're good to go. It takes 3 minutes by car and costs 10CHF. This resort appears to be a combination of several separate hotels. The "Palais" we stayed at is the building farthest from the entrance. It was a comfortable room. The bed was good, the room was a good size and there was more than enough storage space. The only problem is that I think it would be better to have something that can charge things like mobile phones directly from USB, such as a desk lamp with a USB socket. The basic wall only supports European power plugs, so people from other countries will need a conversion plug. If you have a place where you can connect the USB for adjustment, you can avoid such trouble. Also, there is an area with artwork that doesn't look like a 5 Star hotel, which I don't like. Needless to say, you can spend an elegant time in the spa area. In addition, hotel guests can use the public Thermae facility located at the back of the building free of charge. This was open air and felt great. The gym is open 24 hours and has everything you need. They will come right away if you ask them to clean your room or replenish supplies such as water. The staff are great. Cleaning is done very carefully. All three restaurants were excellent. The cheese fondue at Zollstube was the best I've ever had. I ate breakfast at two places and it was delicious. I couldn't get a reservation for the Asian restaurant Namun. Instead, we had take-out sushi. On the way back to Zurich Airport, there were 4 people and 4 suitcases, so instead of taking the train, we took a minivan. It was more expensive than the train, but convenient.

Wonderful spa resort in a historic building. Top service, very clean and courteous and friendly staff - we traveled with two small children, everything was relaxed including a kids spa. :-)
