We, a couple with 4-year child, made this reservation because of the swimming pool. But the swimming pool opens 11h30am and the check-out time is 12h00. It makes no sense. The breakfast staff (not inside the hotel) took 1 hour to complete. They were very busy with many costumers. The room was clean.

Location is good for driving outside the city. The hotel facilities are relatively new, the rooms are large and the bathroom is particularly spacious and comfortable. The rooftop restaurant has a nice view. The first floor ** machine is very new.

Stayed for a couple of nights at Gran Hotel Zurbaran in Badajoz, and thouroughly enjoyed it. From the higher floors there is a beautiful view over the Guadiana river (if the room is facing the back of the hotel). Very central, is ideal to explore the old town or to walk along the pleaseant river banks or across over the bridges. Parking can be a headhake, although free (there is parking inside the hotel at €12,50/day. The staff is very kind and accomodating, always ready to help. It’s a reasonable 4* hotel, but it is starting to need little bits of renovation. Spacious room and comfortable bed. If you book well in advance you might get a better price. Little discount if you become a (free) member of Sercotel. Great stay. Recommend the hotel. Will go back again.

Excellent, clean modern hotel. A little far from the centre but plenty of shops, supermarkets and cafes in the area. Free parking at the rear of the hotel. The rooms were huge and bathrooms modern, with shower and bath. There is a pool, which looked lovely but I didn’t get a chance to try it out. It was a relatively cheap hotel, but think this also reflects the towns Badajoz and that it is off the tourist trail. Some friends ate here, and amazingly for a hotel meal it looked and tasted very good. I would recommend a stay here.

We arrived and there was no staff at reception, a number of people were waiting,one lady was phoning the hotel but still no one one came, waiting about 25 minutes. Eventually a man came out looking flustered, but didn't apologise for keeping us waiting. The room was very clean, had everything we needed but the bed was uncomfortable and it wasn't a good night sleep. Parking was great, location was good. Didn't eat there, we paid 4€ for a glass of wine which was expensive in comparison to other similar hotels that we had stayed in on our journey

La verdad que el hotel muy bien, casi todos los días nos limpiaban la habitación, nos daban toallas para todo, secador, almohadas …todo muy bien y el personal muy majo También disponíamos de un comedor conjunto, con microondas, horno…para hacer cosas La habitación amplia, con baño, pequeña nevera, mesa y silla y televisión…todo muy bien y muy bien situado en la zona Por agradecimiento les dimos unas pasta y una nota por el buen trato y precio.
