The Greenway Hotel & Spa

This was an excellent hotel. Service was great. From James in reception who welcomed us with professionalism and warmth & tips to visit, to the restaurant staff who were helpful and responsive. The chef was great - food was tasty and to a great standard. The housekeeping staff were friendly and accommodating as well. We had an awesome and restful stay. Our dog enjoyed the bed and treats as well as walks in the beautiful grounds. Breakfast was excellent and the rooms were clean, beautifully decorated and comfortable. We will make tgis hotel an regular on our list.

I booked this hotel for my partners 60th birthday. I had read the reviews and was confident that it was a luxury hotel but the experience we had was not so good. There was nothing major but lots of little things that added up to spoil our stay. Our room (Rm 4) was clearly above the kitchen and we were woken at around 6.50am each morning by lots of loud banging and thumping. The views from our small windows were onto flat roofs of the hotel, this was not mentioned in the hotel info and we thought we would at least have a view outside. We had no fridge in the room and had to go to reception /restaurant each time we wanted milk for our tea. We were provided with long life portions on last day. On the first morning at breakfast our ticket was lost and our hot drinks not brought to us. We booked a massage and used the spa. The steam room and outside hot tub were both out of action and the massage was disappointing, with the therapist talking to us the whole time to the point she lost her focus on massaging and was basically stroking me at one point. I want to say that every experience is different and I spoke with staff before settling the bill and they adjusted and compensated us for our inconvenience and disappointment and were helpful and polite. This obviously helped but doesn’t change the fact we had a disappointing experience for a special birthday. Good points: lovely grounds , easy access to walks, staff all helpful and polite. Clean and pretty public areas in hotel.

We visited the Greenway for my birthday and had Afternoon Tea. It was really lovely. The staff were very attentive, especially Milad who made sure that everything went smoothly. Thank you! We had a Quick Look at the Spa whilst we were there. It looked amazing and very inviting! We will be back 🥰

Wish I could contact this hotel and spa ?? Can’t get through on receptio, spa or chat line… zilch!! Eventually got through to an overflow call centre not based at the hotel so he directed my call back to the hotel and ANOTHER recorded message!!! So bad when you try to book 4 treatments!! Don’t think I will bother - they obviously don’t need my money ! 🤬

The service was excellent. Food was exceptional. Grounds and spa were clean and relaxing. A wonderful 3 days to spend our 20th wedding anniversary.

Superb hotel. Our room was beautiful, the staff friendly and attentive, and our meal in the restaurant was outstanding. We can’t wait to return.

Friendly staff, great spa with a good sized pool. Breakfast was exceptional. The hotel has bags of charm and set in lovely gardens. We were given a free room upgrade which made our trip extra special. Loved everything about our stay except that it wasn’t longer and based on breakfast, we’ll definitely try the restaurant for dinner next time!
