The location is not important, though very lonely away from any habitat. The dinner served was good. The room was large and spacious and so was the bathroom. However a lot can be improved. The pillows were too hard, no refrigerator, no glasses to drink water, no spoons to stir the tea, no coffee powder, hand towels were given only on request. The staff was very polite and courteous. However they didn't know english, hindi or even kannada. Probably because they were from mizoram. Overall the stay was ok provided the tariff was more reasonable.

Very Good
GGuest UserThis hotel is on highway. It has plenty of car parking, I can't count that much. Ambience is good. A good amount of money, space and heart has been spent on hotel and restaurants. It basically is a marriage hall/resort. Rooms are spacious, well maintained. Refrigerator and kettle were working. They provide soap and shampoo etc in hand dispensers. Toiletteries provided are toothpaste n brush, comb. No room sleepers. Washroom is avg sized with no partition between shower area and rest. Hot water available at 6 am too. Pressure of water Bathroom's finishing had lacunae and didn't match the finesse of rooms or rest of hotel. It's door was stained n dirty and shower area lacked glass partition. Restaurants have a great ambiance. There is also an outside sitting area which is also highly recommend for its ambience and music.Staff are well behaved and well versed with food/menu esp at restaurant . Gobhi 65 and lemon coriander were very tasty. Spring rolls were having sweet sauce in it. Even daal maakhani was sweet in taste and so obviously we couldn't finish the daal. May be people here like sweetness in their dishes like in gujrat, I can't say.
GGuest UserFound this hotel on net. In heart of city, very clean room, amenities all working condition. Service are fast. Good for south Indian breakfast. Poor with chinese fried rice.
GGuest UserWe booked our stay at sterling banashree and the property was quite enchanting. The way to the resort is through some farms and it isn't great but once inside the resort, you are greeted by friendly staff and the pleasant sound of many birds. Location wise it is just 6 kms from badami cave temple and it is easy to find. We were quite surprised by the food. We had veg gobi adraki and mix veg curries ***** with phulka and chapatis, they were delicious. Next day we had the choice to order from a wide variety of dishes for breakfast, we had idly, uthapam, dosa and poori ***** with watermelon juice. Idly and uthapam were outstanding. Amenities wise there is a large pool, lots of board games and badminton. The room was quite spacious and the washroom hygiene was spot on. It felt like we were in a 4 star hotel. I would definitely recommend this resort as it has a comfortable room, beautiful landscapes, great food and quite convenient to visit nearby stunning temples.
GGuest UserWe stayed at Rajsangam Hotel for 2 days. This was our very first time in Badami. The rooms in picture looks very old, but the rooms are well maintained and good for stay. The owner is very good guy and helpful. I went with my 2 year child and he needed hot water for his formula milk. In room, there are no electric kettle, but at hotel reception, owner has the kettle and he helped to boil the water for two days. The good thing about the property is that there is an hotel just adjacent to it which is the best in that locality. So if you are with family, you don't need to go far away for lunch or dinner as there are very limited options. The breakfast is also good and the hotel has quite affordable prices.
The locations are also nearby. We hired an auto rikshaw (they are bigger than rikshaw actually..usually called as ”tamtam”). So we also hired a tamtam which was also good and the driver was also very polite. On first day we went to local places including
-Bhuthnatha Temple, Badami Museum, and Caves which is just at same location. Driver drops you and he waits outside. You can take your time as much you want. For first day he charged us hardly 500 Rs.
On second day, we had breakfast at the hotel and started our trip at 9 O 'Clock.
First, we went to Mahakoteshwar Temple. After that we went to Pattadkal and had lunch there. There is authentic food at ”Lingayath Khanavali” where you will love the simple food which is also very affordable at 120/- Rs per thali. Pattadkal is 17 Km from the hotel. Then we went to Aihole which is 12 Km from Pattadkal. Having seen everything on this day, we came back to room. Autowala charged us 1200 Ra. for this trip as it was outskirts and takes almost one day. But it is still worth.
Next day, he also dropped us at railway station.
Overall, we had good experience in Badami.
