Found a treasure hotel during a business trip in Iraq! The hotel is run by Chinese and the owner is very nice, the big brother in the third picture! The thing is, since I moved in, I have forgotten that I am in Iraq. Three meals a day are Chinese food, and it is a buffet with more than a dozen varieties. There is also a buffet hot pot every Friday. Oh my god! I went back to the hotel after dinner last night and saw them eating hot pot. I was standing in front of the restaurant very depressed, hahahaha, my friend couldn't care less, so I had another meal because I was on a business trip abroad and hadn't eaten for a long time. Hot pot, so delicious😋🥰🥰🥰

Overall, I am very satisfied. The breakfast is very rich, and there is ice cream. The service is also very good. I thought there must be less fruit in Baghdad, but it turns out that the hotel has many kinds, which exceeded my expectations. I even took photos specially.

I have stayed in many hotels and guesthouses around the world, from developed countries to developing ones. However, I have never experienced such exceptional hospitality as I did at Shanashel Palace Hotel. The regular breakfast time starts at 6:30 AM, but as I needed to check out at 5:30 AM, I requested a cold breakfast package. To my surprise, they informed me that I could come for breakfast at 5:00 AM! What a pleasant surprise it was! All the warm dishes were already prepared. In addition to this, every aspect of their hospitality was outstanding. Upon my arrival, they showed me several rooms and allowed me to choose my favorite one. I am eagerly anticipating another opportunity to visit this hotel again. Mr. Abbas, the hotel manager, and his colleagues have the ability to create a unique experience for every guest.
