My unit was beautiful and the staff was very friendly, especially the concierge. However, the location is pretty isolated and you will be using transportation to get to any decent restaurants and bars. The pool "looks" amazing, however those hard plastic lounge chairs are just plain awful. Yeah, they look great on Instagram but are incredibly uncomfortable since they are a solid chunk of plastic that can't be adjusted. Also, the buildings were slapped together so cheap that it has a dark industrial vibe with concrete floors and cheap signage in the hallways.

The place smelt like sewage the owner had even cemented the floor drains. We had to cover all the other drains with plastic bags with water to seal out the sewage smell Everything vents to the hallways, including bathroom, vents, close, dryer, vent, hot water, heater vent natural gas, toxic environment I stayed in apartment 614 tower one worse than the lowest hotel I’ve ever ever been in chipped glasses hodgepodge of assorted, eating utensils pans that were so burnt the Teflon was peeling off. elevators were really slow and located at only one end of the hall 25 minute trip to the pool and back. Cable railings were broken. Would be very dangerous for a small child. We were charged a high rate very disappointed not much. You can do once you’re there had family coming, and one month planned my advice. DO NOT STAY AT THIS PLACE

Avoid. Too many to mention. Hotel not in Bucerías as described. Garden view was the parking lot. No access to gym period! Bench instead of couch in living room. Huge dangerous wall hanging fell on my head. Complaints to hotel will be ignored.

Nice pool (recently renovated) although rather cool in January. Pool at beachfront (in pics) is a kiddie pool. The only restrooms are located under the restaurant and few patrons seem to bother to hike to them (draw your own conclusion). Also, folks are not supposed to reserve chairs/loungers, but there are always those that do anyway? Security goes a little overboard with rules… We witnessed people being told that they could not drape their shirts on chair backs, nor use a metal go-cup while sitting at the edge of the pool?? The beach and bar staff are great and the grounds are well kept. However, the pictures and reviews on the site are somewhat misleading. This accommodation is of low standards. The beach beds are filthy and broken down. The room stinks, literally… despite air fresheners throughout, there is an occasional smell of sewer gases… Spray air fresheners and leaving the bathroom fan running seemed to help. The unit (614) is dirty and well-worn. The east/south-facing balconies get very warm while the sun is out, even in January. The sliding doors are shaded by drop-down shades, so access to balconies is impaired with shades drawn. Tiny ants crawled the floors and counters. This unit is on the back side and has a view of the ocean to the right, but the overall view (and noise) is dominated by the maintenance shack for the adjoining resort, which can be obnoxiously loud. The sound of the surf competes with the constant drone of air conditioners. Getting to the pool/beach from the 6th floor is awkward… It requires walking to the parking lot end of the building, moving to a lower floor, then backtracking to the opposite end… Quite an inconvenience The cable TV didn’t work for us, but if you bring a Roku you can access YouTube and Netflix. On a positive note, the king bed is very comfortable, water cooler is handy (drinking water provided) and the beach chairs and umbrella were nice. Chairs at the pool are hard plastic and not very comfortable. There are no restaurants within easy walking distance and there are NO bikes with the unit, as claimed in some older reviews. Oye Henry’s beach bar is just under a mile walk to the north on the beach… great margaritas. There IS a new convenience store just steps from the property entrance. The kitchen is fairly well-equipped for meal prep, and the balcony grill is functional. There is a pretty decent outdoor restaurant/bar on premise that accepts credit cards. Note: Bring your own washcloth & wine glasses… they have none?? Yelanie the property contact was very responsive, but keep your expectations in check… this is a pretty shabby place, by typical American standards. I’d offer only 3 stars for the complex and TWO for room 614!

Our unit in Tower 1 had 2 balconies - both facing south. I am showing the view from both balconies. This is a dumping area for the nearby Samba Hotel. This Samba hotel was a big part of the problem as they blasted music from noon on to late in the evening - loud karaoke, poor musical performances and daytime games echoed to us from their PA system. Another major problem was the heat in hallways and balconies. Balconies registered over 95 degrees and were useable only at night. A/C units vented into the enclosed hallway and these hallways were also stifling. On a positive note, the ocean is a short walk away and the infinity pool was enjoyable.

DO NOT fall for booking ARIA OCEAN 601b It's so obviously an investment and thereby terribly uncomfortable and horrifically managed. First off you will not sleep here , given that they spent a whole lot of money on automatic white curtains so you get so have light in your face day and night Then there is the lack of toilet paper, washcloths, bath mats so you'll slip right as you come out of the shower. The WiFi is garbage, and to top it all off the 'manager' is an arrogant and rude person who will do things like turn the TV up at full blast in the apartment attached if you complain about anything There are no outlets. I'm the entire apartment, there was only one outlet that was usable. This was a complete sham and miserable experience
