My partner stayed at this hotel on the last weekend of June this year. When he arrived home he realised he had left a £200 Represent jumper at the hotel. The lead passenger of the booking messaged this hotel through *********** asking if they had found the jumper and if so could they keep it in lost and found until I came to Ibiza a few weeks later. The manager confirmed this twice and said they would keep hold of the jumper until I arrived to pick it up. When I went to the hotel today to pick up the jumper, I was met by a very rude man at the reception who was very dismissive. After finally raising his head to speak, I told him the situation and showed him the messages he had sent on ***********. Straight away the rude man dismissed me and said they do not have a jumper here. He also said that he did not send any messages and that the hotel that messaged wasn’t his hotel. After showing him black and white proof that it was him who confirmed they would keep the jumper there, he decided to ask the cleaners to have a look. After lots of unsuccessful attempts to look, all 3 of the staff members started talking to eachother in Spanish and then their story’s suddenly changed however did not match. They stated that my partner had already been to pick up the jumper and it was given to him. I asked why they just gave an expensive jumper to a random person without confirming any details of who they were- to which all 3 staff members were huffing and puffing, rolling their eyes and refusing to be cooperative. It was obvious the jumper was kept by the man and sold on to keep the money in his pocket. After demanding they refund the money for the jumper for their pure negligence and inconvenience they dismissed me out of the hotel. Only stay here if you want your property stolen and want to deal with rude, ignorant staff. Awful excuse for a hotel, shambollic.
