I have stayed at the Wyndham Baise Resort a few times during the past couple of years. This past week I stayed two nights with friends to celebrate my birthday. The hotel staff delivered a cake and card to my room, which was a sweet surprise. The staff is always friendly and helpful. There is always someone available who can speak English if you need it. We enjoy eating at the restaurant on the first floor which has a variety of good food to choose from. The rooms are comfortable and clean. There is a pool and a sauna that we use every time we go. I love the view of the city and river from the window. A mall and some restaurants are in walking distance.

The room was upgraded, but I think it was a room with broken equipment. The air conditioner was always at 23 degrees, and I woke up several times in one night due to the heat. The water pressure of the shower was low, and it took a long time for the foam to be clean. It can't be called a shower, and there was no power at all. I couldn't help but report it to the lobby manager at 1 a.m. During breakfast, colleagues on different floors had the same problem. Another lobby manager was short of staff and unfamiliar with the system operation. When I was standing and waiting, someone cut in line. When I opened the invoice, they said the system crashed. The sewage system in rural area is prompt to choke so don’t be surprised by the label on the wall advising users not to throw tissues into the toilet bowl incase it jammed up. Location is very good. Bus terminal is just 100m away. Many foods around that area. DiDi is easily available within the city. Value for money for those not fussy.
