Hotel Punta Est

Très bon séjour dans cet hôtel . personnel au top que ce soit :restaurant (servi à la table),reception et cleaning. Hotel ancien mais très bien rénové et très propre.Piscine standard agréable. Suffisamment de sièges disponibles. Clientèle calme. Si vous voulez du repos , du calme et du chill out : c'est pour vous . A noter : beaucoup d'escaliers et de niveaux de plancher différents. Si vous restez plus de cinq jours , prévoyez une voiture.

I stayed at the Punta Est hotel the day before the wedding and on the first wedding night. On the morning of the wedding I did the preparation in the room. As soon as I woke up I went to have breakfast and when I came back the super kind lady who cleans the rooms told me that they knew there was a bride and therefore she had cleaned and tidied up my room while I was having breakfast (I really didn't expect it, it was a super kind gesture) I got ready on the terrace with an amazing sea view. I must say that all the staff were super kind, given that there was a lot of people coming and going in my room (my mother, bridesmaids, photographer, video maker, etc.), no one said anything (which is not at all obvious) in fact, they were were super helpful. Another thing, in the evening when I returned with my husband they gave us a bottle of wine and a greeting card for the wedding. I would say that I don't recommend it to everyone!!

A beautiful hotel with a homely touch and the staff is very friendly. The head waiter is excellent and complements the great service. I have to eat gluten-free and it is the second time we have come to Hotel Punta Est. Both times the food was excellent and I have never had any problems. They take the topic very seriously and you can eat with peace of mind and delicious food even with celiac disease. Thanks for everything, see you next year

The suite is modern and spacious with a nice view. Breakfast, quite varied, served in the garden with sea view. Close to the beach, the only downside for us. I booked the first row, before departure, and I discovered on site that the first row is separated from the sea by the free beach, so anyone can put umbrellas in front of yours and the view of the sea is hidden by a sea of ​​bathers who have right to occupy that space. Perhaps the hotel's reservations office, which kindly gave me the telephone number of the establishment manager, who does not work for the hotel, could explain the situation.

We stayed at the hotel for 10 days and it was a pleasant stay. However, compared to others in the area, the hotel is a bit sloppy when it comes to the rooms. The toilet lid was yellowed and loose and the room was very small but clean. The hotel's strength is clearly the staff. They are always courteous and friendly. The food is very good, but not very traditional. A bit more Sardinian specialties would have been desirable. The food is offered in menu form and you can choose between different dishes. The service is very good and the complex is otherwise Mediterranean in design. There is a bar by the pool and breakfast on the terrace with a great view of the sea. Breakfast could be a bit more varied. There is always the same cold cuts and little choice. There were pancakes and bread, but no rolls. Overall, it is recommendable but a bit expensive. We booked a package holiday and chose the hotel because it is only a 3-minute walk to the beach and in the evening you can take a stroll through the town with its numerous bars and restaurants.

Very good and friendly reception. We got a nice, spacious room with a side sea view. Very clean and by that I mean perfectly hygienic, which I think is very valuable in the current situation. The dinner is amazing. Always a four-course meal, served quickly by quick and friendly waiters. The menu is available in German, English and of course Italian. I've posted a photo of it as an example. The breakfast is very good by Italian standards, just "continental" with sausages, scrambled or fried eggs, cakes, croissants, sausage, cheese, yoghurt, etc. The hotel has WiFi in all rooms. The pool is attractive and very clean. The little town of Baia Sardinia is located in a bay and offers everything you need. It is about 200m from the hotel to the beach. The water is super clear, like everywhere on the Costa Smeralda. Unfortunately, the prices here are a bit high. For example, a parasol and two loungers cost €30 a day; a scoop of ice cream costs €2.50. Nevertheless, this hotel and the surrounding area leave nothing to be desired and is really recommended

Given that everything can always be perfected, but our experience in this hotel could really be titled: "It could have been done better". Let's start with the strong points, which are many: kind and helpful staff, exceptional location of the hotel, close to everything but quiet and with a beautiful view of the sea. Parking available. Abundant breakfasts, at the buffet, always well garnished, full of sweet and savory foods, flexibility even in the timetable, good service at the tables, even quick. Rooms of the right size and fully furnished, therefore comfortable. Poolside bar available with super cocktails. For a 4 star in Baja Sardinia and for the price paid, we could have done better though! That is: at dinner a questionable menu, having taken advantage of half board, as there were few typical dishes, dull dishes (one evening they offered us spaghetti in white garlic and oil), portions really at the minimum wage and slightly exaggerated drinks prices, in particular water and, moreover, offered without a wine and drinks list, so find out the price when paying the bill; swimming pool whose flooring needs to be fixed and not controlled and we have had guests, even from other structures, who are not very polite (unfortunately civility is not for everyone, but if you leave room for non-control obviously due to the law of large numbers some uncivilized things happen and spoil All ) ; on the evening of mid-August a beautiful aperitif on one of the terraces but disorganized in timing and in the offer of accompanying appetizers; parking available, but no one checks, one day our car was stuck and so we had to reach the beaches on foot; hotel not well signposted and with a double access but one of the two, the one near a public car park, not really signposted; cleaning of the rooms not exactly thorough, we had a small balcony overlooking the garden, delightful, but never in a week was it cleaned and the furniture was never dusted during the week of our stay, done at the beginning and then never repeated. However, overall a positive experience, but it could be perfected, really because the hotel really has a lot of potential.
