The H Boutique Hotel

We didn’t stay at the hotel but this is the second time I’ve eaten there and the food, decor and atmosphere is fab. We went just before Christmas and had steak and chip- really tasty especially the steak, perfectly cooked. We had the Bakewell pudding for dessert and it was gorgeous. I was going to try something else this time but decided to go for the same thing! Didn’t disappoint. The staff were genuine, friendly people, and the place was spotlessly clean.

What a beautiful hotel this is. My sister and spent 2 nights here for her birthday. It was fabulous. The decor is outstanding and our room was very comfortable and everything in it that we needed. The staff were so kind, polite and helpful. We would definitely return.

Located in the centre of Bakewell. Very clean. Staff are chatty, friendly and welcoming. Breakfast was delicious (be aware you pay separately - not included.) No hotel car park but pay and display opposite. Yes, irritating but none of the businesses in town have concessions. Nightmare for those who work in the town. Avoid arriving before 6.30pm on a Monday. Market Day. Car park is shut. If possible, don’t book a room that overlooks the back of the CoOp.

We stayed for 3 nights at the H boutique hotel in Bakewell. The location is terrific because you can walk everywhere. The rooms are very nice. There is no car parking but if you buy a pass it is not much of a problem. There is an adjoining restaurant, so breakfast is extra.

This is the fourth time we have been to this hotel. Its in a great location and the staff are lovely BUT the big disappointment and shock this time was that the new management have taken away the inclusive breakfast option without making this change obvious. We were surprised to be ask to pay for breakfast on our first morning. Breakfast with coffee and juice for the 2 of us was £34 so potentially an extra £102 on our 3 night stay which basically amounts to a price inflation by stealth of approx 15%, felt underhanded. The staff were apologetic and understanding but our issue was with the way things had been handled by the new management. Will think twice about a return visit tbh

I have stayed a couple of times a year, as a convenient jump off point to other places and the hotel experience is always superb. Staff are very friendly and the rooms are well maintained and clean. The meet and greet at the reception is always friendly and helpful and on this particular visit, the staff went above and beyond to take care of a need. We always eat in the hotel, which offers residents a welcomed 10% discount and this includes when you pop back for coffee and cake. This is a well run hotel who care about their reputation and their customers. Happy to keep on returning.

Lovely hotel in central location. We stayed in one of the suites, the room was very large and well equipped, all to a high standard. Good breakfast in the downstairs restaurant. Seperate car park opposite offering long stay options. We stayed as a family group with 3 different rooms, all were excellent quality.

This is genuinely our favourite hotel in the Peak District. After staying in different areas we have found H Boutique to be the most comfortable stay in the Peak District. The hotel is spotless and you always get a friendly welcome. The rooms are so comfy and have aircon. The beds are huge and super comfy. The food was decent when we ate in the restaurant. We can’t fault it and will continue to return.
