Zest Solo, one of the newest 2-star hotels in the city of Surakarta. Its location in Manahan, the parking lot can be quite steep and narrow, fortunately the hotel offers free valet parking facilities. The lobby is a standard size with a modern interior. The room size is quite spacious and comfortable for a 2 star, equipped with benches, chairs and simple work desks. The mattress size 100x200 is comfortable enough with 1 pillow each per mattress. For the zest rooms, all of them are twin. They can set Hollywood but they are only attached and still easy to move, so it's not comfortable. In the room, they provide complimentary 2 bottles of 600 ml mineral water, and a dispenser for refilling mineral water at the corridor. The bathroom uses a head shower and faucet. For shampoo and bath gel, use a 2 in 1 dispenser system, no toothbrush is provided so it is better to bring your own. The wifi speed is not good, fortunately the TV shows are clear. There is also a room service menu that is affordable. Overall the rooms are quite comfortable because the condition of the hotel is still new and still well maintained. For breakfast, you can say the taste can be enjoyed and the variants are quite complete, there are pecel, yellow rice, bacem tofu, green bean porridge, indomie corner, egg corner, fried noodles, guava and orange juice, sliced fresh fruit and pudding. A budget hotel that is quite clean when you look at it with your eyes, when I sleep my hands itch until I wake up 2 times. maybe bitten by a flea. And the next day my hands were bumpy and swollen. up to 3 days still the bumps. please pay attention to the cleanliness of the bed. Thank you

One hour and a half taking a train from Jogja to solo seeing my partner after a few months in a distance because of the pandemic situation. The air was so hot, but we suddenly arrive at this hotel with all of the safe introduction of hand sanitizer, distance, life touch, and the other stuff for this new normal. all of the staff there were so kind that makes us feel comfortable enough. That vibes in the room make me have a good conversation after a long time distance. The pillow and bed were so soft, kindly make a coffee and tea for our day easily in here, and also absolutely the bathroom and all of the stUff that smells so good. You know what the best part here? Right. Seeing a view of Surakarta from their window.

I stay one night in this hotel when i travel to solo. Its clean but The room(standar room) is a bit small. I like how they design their rooms and with all the interiors on the hotel (especially at the restaurant). Overall, i have a good experience and will consider to come back.

Quite unique experience, if you are like us who planning to do prewedding photo shooting there I suggest I first ask the hotel which room suitable for that kind of activities, since there are some variation of rooms not listed in online description, I order mine at pegi-pegi apps and at first booked the pavilion suite (4 occupants) and then changed to pavilion type with only 2 occupants in which there is only one bedroom combined with kitchen and living room so quite wide (the 4 occupant have 2 separated bed rooms and one living room so quite cramped to do photoshooting), and there is also 3-occupants variety for pavilion suite. The rooms design is good and clean, receptionists were nice and helpful (I bothered them to help me look around looking for better room), lots of electrical sockets, and all eat and cook utensils are provided, plate-bowl-glass and knife-spoon-fork (although they charged 25k Rp for each portable gas canister). Oh one complain though, the hot water setting is too high and not hot at all lol, even though I place it on the middle. One bonus is its on walkable distance from a mall so you can do your shopping there.
