Brighton Hotels with Balcony

The hotel lives up to its name it’s “Grand” and has retained its charm. Our room on the 5th floor was very large well furnished, great amenities and clean with a wonderful sea view. Thank you to the amazing staff on concierge desk, reception, breakfast crew and housekeeping who were always friendly efficient and helpful, it was a delightful six days. We will definitely return.

Stayed here for a conference and wasn’t overly impressed. I appreciate they are going through a refit but there was an unacceptable amount of disruption. Long wait at reception to check in. Long queue and only 2 receptionists. Workmen noise during breakout sessions of the conference meant it was difficult to hear speakers. Main lifts out of action and signposting from small lifts to rooms was very poor and I struggled to find my room. Room smelled strongly of paint and had to open window as air con unit didn’t appear to be wired in. Came back after being at dinner to find my towels had been replaced (surprised but thank you) but my facecloth had been removed (it was my own one) and I had nothing to wash my face with. But probably worst of all was being woken by workmen shouting right outside my window at 6.45am. Not what I wanted after a late night. I’m just glad I wasn’t paying for it!

We stayed in a standard king room. The room looked like it needed a lot of work done (walls, door, windows). The walls are so thin that I could hear the next rooms conversation clearly. The staff are friendly and helpful and breakfast was good but I don’t think i would stay here again. Parking was awful, there are hardly any spaces as most the spaces have pillars in them and they are very small to get in to. They also share the car park with another building so there’s not many spaces available considering how many rooms they have. It was better to park in the nearest car park. I’ve stayed in other holiday inns and they were so clean and lovely rooms to stay in. I just think that this hotel is outdated and needs work.

We visited this hotel for our anniversary weekend and it was perfect. I called ahead to see if they were able to accommodate any requests for our special celebration and we were pleasantly surprised at the lovely petal trail! The hotel and room was spotless. The staff were friendly, happy to recommend sights and eateries. Our entire stay was beautiful. If I am to offer any feedback, it would be an offering of dinner and slightly more staff visibility. We had pressed the buzzer a few times and had no response. The two staff (one male and female), apologies I didn’t get your names - thank you for taking care of us. Until next time!

Prior communication with the Hotel was easy and Marta was great as we had a couple of requests. When we checked in, Marta greeted us very warmly. We had a room with a balcony and the views of the sea were great and the room was very nicely decorated and a very comfortable bed. We had a meal at the hotel in the restaurant and it was delicious and the service was very professional. Breakfast time was a bit busy and the layout of the buffet is a bit squeezed but overall is good. We enjoyed our stay and would visit again

The hotel is nice and modern. The staff were very friendly and helpful. However, I payed for 'One Bedroom Penthouse Suite with Sea View and Private Terrace'. I was quite disappointed as the view from the room we received was not overlooking the sea at all, but overlooking buildings. In order to see the sea view we had to go outside, around the corner, onto the Terrace and look over someone else's private terrace. Not sure if were given the wrong room, but as we paid extra for a sea view, this was very disappointing. The parking situation was a bit annoying. The carpark is around a 5 minute walk away and with discounted rate from hotel we paid £36 for 3 days. We were told we could stop out the front to drop our bags off at check in, however there was a taxi rank with taxis completely blocking the road up to the hotel, so we had to carry all our bags from the car park. I think the extra touches could have been better for the price we paid, we were given 4 small milk sachets, 4 coffee pods, 2 tea bags, 1 toilet roll and 1 dish washer tablet, for a 3 night stay. There also was not any soap in the toilet when we arrived, we had to ask reception for some. The gym room was very good, we could book slots in advance to use the gym without anyone else being in there. Good location, close to shops and a short walk from sea. Overall, I would return to this hotel, but I would not pay extra for a suite as I don't think there is much extra value in it.

Hotel name :A room with a view, 5 minutes by bus from the train station, just opposite Haitao, opposite the bus road, reception is on duty until 21 pm, if check in is later than 9 o'clock, you need to send an email to the duty staff to wait for you for a while, the hotel details are as shown in the picture, I will not describe it. Give 5🌟🌟🌟 praise

Room 46 Single and on the 3rd floor. Great welcome on arrival. Clean comfortable and quiet. Good selection of TV channels and plenty of milk for tea and coffee etc. Hot water clean towels and a peaceful night. I stayed on a Tuesday night so no cabaret below but this hotel is above a Cabaret bar so I can imagine this will impact anyone who stays over the weekend. Earplugs are provided and it is very central so is very convenient right on the sea front. I only needed one night as was visiting friends nearby so for my needs it was perfect. No fridge in room but hairdryer kettle ironing board and iron. Great value for money compared to other hotels in the area.

The hotel is super good, the room is quite big, very clean, two steps to the beach and the bus station, a little far from the train station, but the overall is very quiet and comfortable. The recommended breakfast shop is delicious. I also have a lot of snacks, love.

We booked one night in the compact room, but due to a late change of plans (RIP queen Lizzy) booked another, earlier night in the deluxe double room (only one available). The lovely guy at the reception upgraded us as we were checking in, so we wouldn't have to switch rooms mid-stay, and we spent 2 nights in the deluxe (basement, room 26). The room was HUGE, very clean, with a nice comfy bed. It was very quiet! During the day you could maybe hear someone going up the stairs, but at night it was perfectly silent, and I'm a light sleeper. Location is great - within walking distance from shops, food and buses, but not near enough to suffer from noise. The only complaints: Breakfast was a bit underwhelming. Pretty standard English breakfast (with vegan options!). The bathroom door in the room was quite creaky, if one of us went to the loo during the night it could wake the other one up. This is a great place with friendly staff, and I would definitely come here if I'm back in Brighton.
