Amanbagh, translating as 'peaceful garden', provides a tranquil refuge to access the rich heritage of Rajasthan’s dramatic frontier region. Lying within a walled compound that was once the staging area for the Maharajah of Alwar’s royal hunts, the resort evokes the palatial grandeur of the Mughal era.
Amanbagh’s graceful domed main building houses the Restaurant on the ground floor, which opens onto a terrace overlooking the garden. The menu focuses on seasonal Indian and Western cuisines, with vegetables and herbs grown in the organic kitchen garden.
The Library Terrace, located on the second floor of the main building, is ideal for informal dining in the evenings. The Library itself offers a variety of reference books on the history, arts, culture and wildlife of India. Elevated above a canopy of trees, the Rooftop provides sweeping views over the surrounding hills and is another option for alfresco dining. The main building also houses a small boutique.
A 33-metre swimming pool and a 12-metre wading pool lie at the heart of Amanbagh’s gardens. Both are heated during the cooler months.
In the Ayurveda-influenced spa, skilled therapists draw on India's ancient healing philosophy to provide a range of treatments, including facials, massages and scrubs. Yoga and meditation take place within the gardens and at scenic spots beyond Amanbagh’s grounds. Tailormade Wellness Immersions are also offered.

Personal opinion: India's most luxurious hotels in terms of size, facilities, and architectural style are more affordable than the hotels of Oberoi, Rila Palace, and even Taj's own chain in various parts of India. The entire hotel is located in a European-style garden. The garden is too big to walk around, sitting on the porch outside the restaurant, drinking beer, and looking at the fountain in the distance and the peacock next to it. Enough!

To the Palace of Water 9 km, to the Amber Fort 330 rupees, in Ramada is really a beautiful ti yam

The hotel is very large and the environment is very good, especially when it is at night. The hotel does not charge tips, the service is in place, the breakfast staff also specially prepared the local breakfast, although we are not used to eating. The only downside is that because the hotel is in the new city, it takes about 40 minutes to drive to the Palace of the Winds. It is recommended to bring a swimsuit before check in. The pool is very good.

It was a very unique boutique hotel right in front of Jal Mahal close to Pink City. The location and the staff was excellent.
Breakfast could have been better, quite a number of tour groups but overall it was a good and well kept property.
There were a few hiccups but recovery was excellent. I would definitely stay at this property again in future.

This is a lovely hotel, with a very pretty veran***, front lawn and fresco paintings. It's laid back and has nice, good value food, including both Indian and European choices. There's a shop on site for souvenirs and ayurveda massage. The city centre and the train station aren't far, but the location is quite quiet given this.

Decent Hotel from Room and location perspective. It's approx 1 km from Jaipur Junction. For rooms they have an option of Double bed and triple bed. Pros: - Near to Jaipur Railway station. - Triple bedrooms are decent enough for couples and 2 kids. - Hotel ***ager is quite supportive and accomodative. Can be Improved: - Restaurant can be improved. Very very limited option when it comes to food - Basic things like complimentary drinking water bottles , kettles or tea / coffee ingredients should be available in rooms

Outstanding
I stayed at Ranjana's homestay in Jaipur with my mother and grandmother during a few day sightseeing tour in Jaipur. From start to finish, we felt completely at home and were stunned with the hospitality and warmth from Ranjana and her staff. The team promptly assisted with all our needs, kept the place spotless, and provided wonderful local recommendations. They even put together an amazing surprise for my grandmother's birthday. The homestay itself is very charming with wonderful amenities (roof, gym) and delicious, home cooked Rajasthani food available throughout the day. You truly get the amenities of an hotel with the hospitality/comfort of staying at home for a very reasonable price. Location is also prime for main sightseeing spots. There is no where else you should stay if you are visiting Jaipur!
Firm beds but we prefer that so we slept well. Rooms are spacious and bathrooms well equipped; probaby the best facilities we experienced during our mid budget tour. Restaurant was alway busy and food was tasty and fresh. Nice touch was the daily live music while you enjoy food and drink.
The staff was really helpful, rooms are clean, quiet and cozy with tv. Bathroom was also clean. The location is perfect, you can catch a tuk tuk to the city center easily and it's not very far. Overall great experience in the Shikha hotel, would definetely recommend to stay there if you are in Jaipur
GGuest UserIn the centre of Jaipur with an excellent rooftop view. Good ambivalence at night. However, music plays at obscene times of the day/night (23:30/01:00/06:30?!) with deep bass that can be felt through the walls. My friends and I had private rooms and weren’t there for a party experience, but I’m sure it would have been a banging time if we were. The rooms were a mixed bag in terms of cleanliness. Good beds. Decent bedding. The kettle was however horrific, as were the teabags on offer. Grime and old dirt crusted within the kettle showed a lack of thorough cleaning. The bathrooms smelled of particularly rotten sewage, too. As for check-in, the procedure took too long and they wanted far too many details. It’s not ideal after a flight, and whilst I understand it’s customary for the hostel, it is the first time to happen to us in India. It felt over the top. We also arranged to do laundry there and the entire thing was a mess. The lady running the reception is smiley and lovely, but it was a complete hassle getting our clothes back. We were concerned we might not see them again, haha!
If you want somewhere safe, central and with a good view, go for it. I would next time stay a little further out of the centre but that’s just me! Here, you get what you pay for :)
We stayed here for 3 days as part of a package in their upgraded room category. The food was delicious and varied, with a choice of buffet or ala carte for dinner. The breakfast buffet was also comprehensive and the coffee was good. Drinks prices were good, about £30 for local wine (good!) and £4 for a beer. The rooms were large and beautifully decorated. Some reviews say they are a bit dated - but that’s the point as it’s a heritage hotel… it was charming and super clean. The pool is a lovely addition for the end of a hot day of sightseeing. The staff were all lovely and couldn’t do more to help. Would certainly stay again if I was ever back in Jaipur.
GGuest UserOne of my favourite hotels but then I had a nicer room than my friends, in a lovely enclosed garden area with seating areas. The soft furnishings were a little grubby and it could have been cleaner hence the very good rating rather than excellent. My room was peaceful and relaxing despite being in a busy area. The food was good and I particularly enjoyed the buffet breakfast with a variety of options. The home made cakes and breads were also very good. The staff were helpful and very friendly so overall a very positive experience.
JJian LiuIt is a red hotel, the overall design and interior decoration are very exotic, very suitable for taking pictures, the hotel location is also very good, very close to the ancient city, not far from the various attractions. The hotel is located at the end of a quiet alley, quiet in the middle of nowhere. The breakfast is quite rich, the restaurant on the top floor of the hotel is also very good, there is a singing and dancing performance for dinner, and there are monkeys on the top of the building next door. The downside is that the hotel restaurant waiters are too fine, take the initiative to ask for tips when paying the bill; the room on the first floor is almost unavailable (just next to the entrance to the gate), it is best to avoid this room; the hotel room is small, The quality of bedding towels is also very general, it may be famous, and almost all of them are foreigners, but there is room for improvement in details.
Stayed in the Jaipur Inn for 3 nights, genuinely the best place I've stayed so far. I arrived in Jaipur late and the location I had previously booked let me down. So I got a last minute room late in the evening and they were more than accommodating. The owner was there to greet me and offer his help for my time in Jaipur. The cafe within the hotel was a great amenity, the coffee each morning was delicious. It has an old fashioned feel to the place with the great hospitality and the decor. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay
GGuest UserI travel-led with family and booked a 1 room for 4 adults. Hotel was very near from bus stand or railway station. It's not directly on main road not just a minute walk from main road and if you travel by car you can also park your car in front of hotel tho parking was limited moving towards the room, it was clean, bedsheet and pillows were very soft. There was a attached bathroom with the room only. Tv was not working but that's not an issue because who will watch tv on a trip visit so that's manageable. Staff provided with a blanket for each person and 1 water bottle with a soap food is also nice and to be honest the price is justified for the same. Overall it's a nice budget hotel for a stay in jaipur
