Kochi Hotels with Balcony

There are no shortages when it comes to good things to say about this hotel. The staff was always above and beyond - especially Aditya at the front desk. He made sure that all of our needs was taken care of and always with a smile on his face. The rooms were clean and very comfortable (thanks to Deepa, Bhima, and the housekeeping crew). The access to forum mall was definitely a plus and made planning our stay convenient. Overall it was a wonderful experience and I will be recommending it to my friends and would happily return!

I stayed with my wife and daughter, Overall my stay was perfect however I would like to highlight few things can be improved. Restaurant service is slow, food options are great , there were more than enough varieties orin the Buffet we always had the option to order from the Ala carte menu. I would like to say a big thank you to Sangeeta from the buffet restaurant . She was superb, as soon as we entered the restaurant she attends us with a big smile on the face. She know her job very well. Cleanliness- Room cleaning was done every morning when we leave for breakfast. our room cleaning guy Mr. Afazzudhin was the highlight. He always make sure our room is cleaned before we get back from Breakfast. He is a friendly and very professional I would give 5 star for cleanliness. Hassan & Family

Just One word..Its simply amazing. Great ambience..calm and serene.. Courteous staff and above all the welcome by staff is just more than the next level, a true malayali style which encompasses the culture and tradition of the native land, Kerala. We have booked the breakfast ***** with the stay and it was a treat to eyes and mouth. And coming to the ambience, every nook and corner of the hotel is aesthetic in nature, the color shade, furniture and interiors, the fragrance and the warm lighting all over, adds more beauty to the hotel. I highly recommend the tourists prefer this hotel for your stay whenever you visit Kerala and I promise it doesn't disappoint you. Special thanks to Abirami for a great welcome to my family into the hotel and thanks to all the staff and s who made our stay a pleasant one and lots of memories to cherish though it's a day stay. We stayed with frienda fir one trip at Saj earth Resorts Cochin and it was an awesome experience, the hospitality was appreciable. The staff are friendly. The suite rooms are perfect. I don't think the hotel restaurant is bad, so I'm satisfied. Convenient for long stays.

One of the best hotel options that is very close to the airport with good eating options both within and outside the premises. Well appointed rooms, a great check in experience and was delighted by the service gesture the offered in terms of room upgrade and late checkout options. Has a good restaurant with delicious Chinese cuisine that I tried out. It's going through some renovation but that's not having a lot of impact on one's stay here. Overall a pleasant stay except the fact that I left behind an expensive chocolate in the room mini fridge and could not get it back when I enquired for it the same day.

The check-in experience with one of the staff members called as Mr.Jinu was extremely unpleasant. He asked whether I wanted to do advance or full payment to which I replied that I would prefer doing that during checkout as I would order food and other services and would pay combined for that. And the same is followed by many other hotels including 4 star hotels in the city. Even though this was a corporate booking done via Yatra for business, the staff person didn't know that and was asking for amount higher than what was mentioned on the tax invoice hotel voucher. He had to call another staff to recheck the amount and finally admitted that the amount on the hotel voucher with me was correct. After this the staff person suddenly changed and insisted that I pay the full payment only. The treatment I received was as if I would run away without payment. He kept on repeating - ”it's hotel rule”. Upon asking where the hotel rule is written or documented in your hotel policy, he had no answer and suddenly insisted that I cancel the booking. I was appalled at this kind of behaviour and treatment by a staff who works in a hospitality industry who treats customer in a hostile manner. Please do your research about the rules here. If anything is declared as a ”rule” or a policy, do ask for proof of its document. When I insisted on calling the manager, the manager said I could do payment in parts which was fine. But staff people treating people like theives is NOT OKAY. If hotel people are reading this review, kindly check the recording of the camera at your reception. Treating people like thieves when you are in hospitality industry is not at all okay. Hotel people should really pay attention to the reviews on Google page regarding treatment by staff. The lowest rating for this hotel have been mostly given for staff behaviour. They should train the staff to be more professional.

What we greatly appreciated was that while the furnishings were traditional, the amenities were modern and contemporary. Owned by the biggest name in the antiques trade, mr. Majnu, who became a dear friend by the end of our stay, each spacious room is individually designed with artefacts reflecting its character. Alan at front desk and all members of staff were courteous and attentive, ever-ready to help. The location, on the waterfront, is in the heart of the old jew town of mattancherry, with the parades i synagogue and dutch palace a stone’s throw away. Its waterside restaurant is popular with in-house guests and walk-ins alike. Highly recommend this hotel!

I stayed here for three weeks. This is a good value budget option. The hotel is very centrally located and is a safe place to stay. My room was medium sized and I was supplied with a kettle on request. There was a small outside balcony with no view to speak of. There was no fridge. The A/C was very efficient, as was the WiFi. Water was supplied daily. This place is very clean- well done to the hard-working staff who were all delightful: consistently very pleasant and helpful. Highly recommended!
