Great service. Very professional and friendly. I traveled with my handicapped husband and they made sure we were taken care of and take care of any issues our electric scooter might face. Breakfast was amazing lots of food options. We would definitely stay there again.

We spent our last night here, and had a wonderful time! First, we stayed here 5 yrs ago, but checked in later in the day and had such an early flight out, we weren't able to enjoy the grounds. This time around, we were able to get the full experience, and let me tell you, it was wonderful! The grounds are immaculetely maintained and beautiful. Our dinner was lovely (make sure to ask for patio seating when booking), Breakfast was just as nice and the people were so kind and attentive. The rooms are comfortable and tastefully decorated. My husband and I wished we booked for two nights! Thank you all for such a great stay! P.S.: I know someone complained that they arrived early, a couple of hours before check in and couldn't use the grounds before check in...pay the extra money, it is worth it!

We didn’t stay at the hotel, we had an AirBnb nearby and this was around the corner from us so we used the restaurant a couple of times. The food was fantastic! Some of the best pizza and bruschetta we had during our time in Italy. However, the service really really let it down. The first time we visited, we arrived around 10pm due to our flight’s late arrival, but we were still able to get drinks and food. Service was slow, but we appreciated that it was busy and we weren’t in any rush, but it did take a good 30+ minutes to get the bill when we were done. The food was good enough that we wanted to return a second time. The second time, we arrived and were told by a man behind the bar to go and sit down and someone would be over, so we sat by the pool. After 30/40 minutes, no one had come to us so I went to the bar to order, where I was met with “oh you can’t sit outside, we are fully booked”, even though I told her we were instructed to sit down with no reservation (the restaurant was also very quiet with many empty tables). We placed our order for two pizzas to take away instead, and stood waiting at the bar for it. When the pizza came, only one arrived, and when I asked about the second pizza they realised it hadn’t actually been ordered, so we had to wait an extra 10 minutes for it to be made. They did say we could have it on the house, but at this point I just wanted to leave 😅 We walked back to our accommodation carrying our pizza in boxes and ate it at home, and while it was still delicious I couldn’t get over how rude the staff had been to us, all because we were not guests of the hotel. All in all, the food was great, service was slow, and the staff seemed bored and irritable, as if it was an inconvenience to serve their own customers.

A (somewhat expensive) shuttle takes you this modern hotel, only 3 km from the airport. We don´t agree with recent reviews of disappointment. (The shuttle is easy to find IF YOU HAVE PRINTED OUT THE MAP from the hotel internet site). Nice premises, they even have a rooftop pool! (but no gym). Rooms are OK, restaurant is good with an outside option, overlooking the fishingboats moored on the river. Staff is polite and helpful to non-italians. Fiumcino is also a charming little town. If you like to eat out, restaurants are plentiful just up the street from the hotel.

A hotel of no more than 80 euros, this is the best I have ever lived in Italy. The bathroom is spacious, the room is large and there is a large balcony with a large shared terrace outside. There is a supermarket restaurant next to it. The pick-up brother is very caring and intimate. It rains that day, driving me to the supermarket, whether it is so intimate.

We've stayed at Domus Lina several times. It's a fantastic value and located in a great part of the town of Fiumicino. It's a boutique hotel that has many personal touches. I recommend one of the larger rooms with the balcony. Check in is at 2pm. Once you have your room key, you're also given a front door code to use when the manager is not there. If you're around in the morning (many folks have an early departure at the airport), the breakfast on offer is fantastic. And just across the street is a wonderful fish restaurant to have dinner or lunch at.

Due to a computer mixup (we believe), we ended up with two reservations through ***********. When it was brought to our attention we worked with the staff at Isa residence to cancel one booking and we were assured it would be free of charge. Unfortunately we were charged on our credit card for the cancelled booking in full ($150 CAD). Although we were assured verbally and in writing that the booking would be cancelled without charge, the hotel staff has not responded to my repeated requests for assistance. There are two email addresses available on their website, neither of which are valid addresses. My repeated attempts at contacting them through WhatsApp have gone unanswered and they don’t answer their telephone. Although our stay was lovely and the staff was extremely friendly and helpful, this experience has been very difficult and frustrating. I would not recommend Isa residence.

Outstanding
After our cruise we wanted to stay one night near the Fiumicino Airport (Rome). Rather than stay in a hotel, we found a small guest house five minutes from the airport. What an amazing find! We not only found the facility and room to be immaculate, but Sofia and Nicolas made us feel more like a guest in their home. To make things even more enjoyable, it was only a ten minute walk the the beach and location where the Tiber River empties into the sea. It was a perfect place to watch the sunset and have a fabulous meal at one of the many restaurants overlooking the river. If you ever want to stay near the Rome airport, look no further than the Kalaso Design Guest House.
We had a lovely stay. Arrived early evening to FCO and had an early flight to Catania, so wanted to be close to the airport. Leandro was warm and helpful throughout. He picked us up and dropped us back off at the airport as part of the service. The room was clean and comfortable with good working a/c. The neighborhood is quiet. He directed us to a nice restaurant within walking distance that was a perfect first dinner for our family. The complimentary breakfast was also very nice. I'd stay there again. Leandro even drove us to two ATMs, both were not functioning though, but he was extremely patient and caring. Molto grazie!
JJUANThe environment is OK, the room is quite big, you can book a special bus to go to the airport, 7 euros a person, 10 minutes drive from the airport, breakfast is small, very general, but the front desk has a small brother 24 hours, can communicate at any time, cute and Good talk, there is a supermarket nearby, a snack street, and I left the food stalls of the local family to drive around the night before leaving Rome.
Very welcoming and clean place.. inside the room we found an aperitif with sparkling wine and dinner served in the room. Breakfast ready for the next day. Everything perfect.. plus the hydromassage was fabulous.. Everything as described..
DDongyaoHi, don’t give me wrong, it’s not a bad hotel! Low score is not towards the hotel but to the FCO. I got a late arrival flight, and were mind set for a rip off taxi. Yet, I was in lieu but all of sudden told that I need to go to the other side to take a taxi, by the ground transportation control personnel. Yap, I obeyed and went there, and took a taxi. There we go! The start of the scam. 85 euro, I took that, no problem, since it was 1:00 AM, and I do respect people work that shift. I can see the scanner to charge on CC, but I was told I have to pay cash, which is also ok. I am not ready for that much cash, and we went to an ATM, and it didn’t work ofc since it’s an international transaction. So, I was asked for $150 for the total. Wait a minute, $150 = €85? I am at least an elementary graduate man, and I do know the math. After all the mouthwatering drying process, I was off the hook, by telling I don’t mind to be offloaded and got police attended. Finally, I checked in the hotel 2:00 AM or so and by then I started the good time. Nice front desk, and more than expected room space. The location is not really good, but the scenery is perfect. The breakfast is a good start, and once I decided I will go to Rome by public transportation, I do find the option. That’s the story: no complain to the hotel, but not feeling so well with FCO. Overall, do money change as more than you thought before you are in Rome.
GGuest UserThis place provided a great two bedroom suite for three of us to rest our weary heads! It might not work well for all travelers of 3 because the access to the bathroom was through the smaller bedroom. The owner speaks English and was very accommodating. He was so kind and helpful. The room we were in was within a locked gate making us feel very secure. I was delightfully surprised when I initially walked in the room. The shower was bigger than most that we experienced in Italy. Dining in the walkable area is limited but doable. A/C in each room worked well. Refrigerator had to be turned on when we arrived but worked fine. TV in the main bedroom. It is located on a side street but because of it's proximity to the airport the planes fly very low overhead.
3376999571The hotel is in a lovely garden setting a short walk to the beaches of Fregene. There are several loungers in the grounds for guests to use. We arrived to a friendly welcome and did the check in formalities before leaving our luggage and strolling to the beach clubs for lunch. We had paid a significant amount of money for on apartment in the grounds and there is no doubt it is overpriced for an overnight stay. If you are a family of 4 and stay a few nights or for a week it may be a different story but I wouldn't recommend this for one night unless you are fully prepared for the lack of facilities. A bottle of water to start you off in the fridge would be a nice touch as would some milk sachets to go with the two coffee pods provided for the Nespresso machine. Be aware, you get two small sachets of shower cream/shampoo and that's your lot. A container of shower gel located in the shower would at least be helpful. The outside seating area of the apartment needs some attention as the pebbles have moved exposing unattractive plastic sheeting. On opening the shutters in the apartment, we didn't expect to find the sofa, which I assume doubles as a sofa bed, covered in a white sheet and a towel. I didn't explore to find out what this was hiding. Another real frustration was the safe that is located on the very bottom shelf of the wardrobe. There is a warning sign about the hotel not taking responsibility for valuables but unless you are a gymnast, it is somewhat difficult to lie prostate on the floor to try to operate the safe. We didn't bother and took our chances. All in all, it served the purpose as we didn't want to stay in an airport hotel and we did enjoy the beaches of Fregene out of season. Would I recommend 'Il Mirragio', sadly no as it is not practical for an overnight if booking an apartment, it is way overpriced, has very basic facilities with next to no provisions provided. A pretty setting yes but that is where for us, it stopped!
FfacarrollWe stayed here as a jumping off point for an early morning international flight out of Italy. We arrived after a long overland trip by train and bus, and were in need of some refreshment, a shower and sleep. The hotel was quite comfortable although the room showed some signs of mould and the grout in the shower was dirty. A lift was available to access upper floors. Our main complaint regards refreshment. There was no catering available at the hotel. We were directed to a pleasant restaurant nearby. We like to make a cup of tea or coffee in our room. There was no electric kettle, nor was there any cups or cutlery. I approached reception to ask for some cups, but this was refused but I was offered some disposable plastic cups. There was no milk, tea or coffee provided in the room and milk was unavailable at reception ( but we had some teabags and chocolate sachets in our luggage), and when we attempted to use the cooktop in the kitchenette all of the power shut down in the bedsit. I reported to reception and was advised that this was because I had not paid the surcharge for cooker use. I note here that the power had to be manually restored, and because reception closed at midnight a traveller might easily have no light or heating/cooling if the cooker was used after a late arrival.
Our flight was landed late and we needed a place to rest, fortunately we found a free room in this Guest House. They have recently renovated the modern lodging, a perfectly clean and spacious room, bed and very soft coats. We thank Ms Elisabeth who was our angel during this stay, when the profession is carried out with passion you notice immediately.
