We recently stayed at the Mithi for one week on November and it was a beautiful hotel to stay at, the pool and views are beautiful, we did snorkelling just off the beach the hotel has a boat and they will take you out to the reef which is really good, the rooms are cleaned great, all of the staff were so friendly and helpful they are all great, the food is very nice but you do need to add a few more vegetarian options to the menu, there is not much around so you do need to rent a motor bike or pay for a tuk tuk to see the island, I would definitely recommend staying here, Thankyou for a great holiday! The hotel is located in Anda, away from the complex of Panglao and Tagbilaran. The entire resort has 16 rooms, closed management, very good privacy, with large white sand beaches and clean sea water. The hotel's double rowing boats and skateboards can be played for free. If you are not tall, you can snorkel at the beachside of the hotel. For free, the hotel’s diving club also provides life jackets. There are several professional diving instructors in the hotel's diving club to teach diving. The hotel's boat is going out for diving three times a day (for a fee). As long as ten minutes of boating, both my husband and I participated, seeing turtles and many fish and corals, regret it. In Panglao, I wasted time to go to Baricasa. There are many similar faults and corals on the bottom of Anda, so I can see a lot of things and the one-on-one coach here is very safe. Many guests are diving two times a day. However, this resort is located in Anda, two hours drive from Tagbilaran, renting a car from Tagbilaran to 3000P, we have a car park from Panglao to play the Butterfly Garden, the tarsier reserve and the Chocolate Hill total 5000P fare. It’s expensive, but it’s worth it. It’s not comparable to Panglao ALONA. The beach is white and delicate, and the sea is quiet and beautiful. It is suitable for families who like quiet vacation. Need to remind domestic tourists that the resort does not provide disposable items in order to reduce garbage, you need to bring your own toothbrush slippers, etc., and three meals a day are in the resort, there is basically no possibility of going out for food, wifi is slightly worse, from time to time dropped, but The original nature of the resort is kept very good, the service staff is professional and enthusiastic, the resort lives next to the OWNER family, and comes to chat with guests every day.

We booked two different rooms for the 2 nights we stayed (as that was all that was available) - a superior room and a deluxe room (paddy view). The deluxe paddy view room was spectacular and the view is amazing. The bathrooms in each of the rooms are outside so be prepared to encounter a few bugs/spiders. The hotel itself is wonderful, the food at the restaurant is delicious and caters very well for vegetarians! The hotel also offers tours, we took the firefly tour and we absolutely loved it.

Very beautiful and tranquil location.
Room was pretty basic, with one mattress and a wall fan. Could be quite hot during the day but fan does the job pretty well at night.
You have to bring your own toiletries ‘cause they don’t provide any but bath towels.
Service was really nice, the owner was very friendly and accommodating. Even gave us discounts on some of the river activities.
You could also rent a motorcycle which is a must to tour Bohol.
Wifi only works at the lobby/dining area, which is fine, cause mobile data works pretty well.
Overall, very good stay, very beautiful river which is right in front of your accommodation.

The boss is two middle-aged women, they are very enthusiastic, and the garden is amazing! Maybe the room I booked was cheaper, the bed linen was old, and when I entered the bed, a mouse poop was lying on a yellow urine stain. There was no air conditioning, and the door could not be locked when I went out. I could only sleep. Locked up, there are good poultry and many dogs around. The rooster can’t tell the morning and night. It crowed 24 hours a day. The dog screamed like a wolf at night, and at night it also barked like a worm. In short, I heard it when I was a child 20 years ago. The voice in my hometown, I was too tired to take pictures on the first day in the Philippines

The staffs were friendly and helpful. There are things missing like the TV, Bidet in the bathroom. The bathroom overflows with water and gets a lil bit messy. The breakfast is great and the pool. The room is big. Also the only cons there is no phone when you need something you need to go down every time and inform the front desk. They offered free service to bring us to airport since we stayed there for 4 days and 3 nights. The experience is great.

SSays_KatyThat's the end of our stay at this hotel in the executive suite.
What we liked:
Hotel location;
Gorgeous landscapes from the room window;
Pool area;
Spacious swimming pool;
Spacious room;
The pool is properly planned;
Very cute dogs and cats. They cheered us up.;
The staff is very polite and tries to help with everything.;
Relaxing massage;
There was oatmeal on the breakfast menu, which is rare in the Philippines.;
Your requests are being listened to.
What didn't you like:
A small selection of paid breakfast. There is no buffet and you need to choose from the menu. But you can only choose 1 dish and drink for each one. In other words, don't expect to try even a couple of dishes for prepaid money. Here you can choose only 1 dish for breakfast. The rest is paid. It became clear only on the 3rd day of the stay, as they could not understand how the breakfast system worked.
We were charged 390 Philippine pesos for SPAM (or rather, three slices of local ham). It's expensive for this kind and quantity of food.
•On the last day, the cost of paying for a fruit plate increased. It was 350 pesos, it became 400.
•When ordering tom yam, we asked for additional shrimp (+250 pesos). We were served soup with 7 shrimp halves. We still haven't figured out how many shrimps there would have been without the extra ones we paid for. 🙈We thought they forgot to add additional ones. Then we saw the bill and additional shrimps were deposited.
•Few seafood dishes. Considering that you are 50 meters from the sea. There are also few products with vegetables. We suffered because of this. There was no light food.
•The leaves in each salad were stale.
•Service fees were from everything. We understand when the service fee is for food, but we still don't understand why the fee was for a massage. That is, the fee for the massage + the service FEE for the massage.
•There were also fees for filming shark swimming on our phone. We also did not understand why the fee, if the tour itself cost 7,500 pesos + 300 pesos was a service fee (again, we do not understand why it is not included in the total cost of the tour) + 260 pesos for shooting on the phone;
I was disappointed that when booking an excursion to swim with sharks for 7,500 pesos, fishing was included, but no one offered it to us. They just took us, we swam and brought it back. They say the tour took 5 hours, but it was two and a half hours.
•Hand soap has not been refilled in two days;
• The automatic circulation of water in the pool was rarely turned on, so we swam with flies for two days... trying to catch them from there;
•The performers were an hour late for the first tour, and 30 minutes late for the second. We don't understand why our time wasn't respected.
• One shower wasn't working. There was no water coming out of it;
• Often they didn't bring half of the dish. That is, if you ordered a meat plate with grapes, cheese and crackers, be prepared that I may not bring you crackers, but there will be 3 pieces of cheese. That's for 590 pesos. We ordered this plate twice, and two times we didn't get any crackers. The second time we asked and they informed us. Also, when ordering mashed potatoes with chicken, they brought us chicken without mashed potatoes. We asked and were informed. Everything was already cold. They didn't add a banana to the banana pancakes.
Unfortunately, curtains are not blackout, for those who cannot sleep without them, bring a sleep mask.
I write absolutely all the little things, as I am very careful about the service. I really liked this hotel. In any case, I recommend it wholeheartedly. After all, they communicate politely with you here, there are gorgeous views from a spacious room, and there is a large swimming pool. But I have to write down the little things so that the management can improve the quality of service so that staying at this hotel leaves only positive emotions for absolutely everyone! After all, the hotel is really beautiful!
GGuest UserExpensive, but worth it. Hospitality is top notch, never met so many nice people in my life, bed was very comfortable, everything was clean, and food was good. Massages were the best I’ve ever had in my life. If we ever came back to Panglao again, the ONLY reason we wouldn’t stay at Amorita again would be due to the price. Everything else was top notch.
AAndreyThe hotel is very nice and clean! Drinks and food are of high quality. Stuff is very friendly and professional. I'll definitely choose this hotel for the next stay
GGuest UserThis was our first stop in our trip to the Philippines. They were very friendly, polite and extremely helpful with us. We arrived with only one piece of luggage as the other one got stuck in Barcelona. They helped us trying to get in touch with the airline company. We stayed with them for 5 days and the rooms were very clean. The place is well located only a short walk to Alona Beach. Thanks for a great stay!!!
Ggibo_27We booked a two-night stay and overall it was good. Location is one kilometer away from the beach center. You can ride a tricycle to the center for P100. It is just along the road and it is situated within a commercial center where there is a cafe, convenience store, restaurants and clinic.
Amenities are good. Since this is a new hotel, the furnitures and appliances are new and in good condition. Water pressure is great, shower heater is working perfectly. Private javuzzi is a plus.
The bfast buffet is actually more of chinese cuisine and not of wide variety but just enough for the price. There is a big television but the channels and movies available are chinese.
Overall, still a good experience. It is peaceful and quiet in the resort and you can enjoy the pool area specially if there are few guests.
RRené-MarcThe staff were friendly and helpful in explaining what things to see and how to get there.
The room was as advertised, the size was correct and as we selected the king bed ocean view, the big balcony was perfect to enjoy the view. We loved the pools.
The hotel location is quiet, if you don’t mind the neighbourhood roosters (pretty much everywhere).
As the hotel is located a bit far from the town though, they provide a complementary shuttle to get to go to the beach. Of you want more freedom and as a tuk tuk ride cost around 200P one way, we would recommend renting a scooter to go around.
We rented one at the hotel (Suzuki Bugman street) for 400P, it’s 50P more than what you could get in town, but it’s convenient. The scooter carried both of us to the chocolate hills, and all other places we wanted to see.
The breakfasts were pretty straightforward with three choices, Filipino Tosilog (more a grilled porc), a continental that was my choice after trying the tosilog, and an Asian one, my partner tried the dumpling and well this was a real disappointment.
There is one thing I really didn’t liked is that the coffee isn’t brewed, then if you want a small cup of brewed is 150P and the juice is additional charge of 190P. All hotel everywhere have brewed coffee and juice included with breakfast. Something I told the hotel’s owner.
Would we recommend that hotel?
Definitely yes, for the room, the view, the staff.
GGuest UserI'm surprise to read quite a few negative reviews here about this hotel. Unfortunately, it pulled their ratings down as well. Too bad as this hotel really did a great job for us. First off, the staff was friendly and super accommodating! This is a last minute overnight booking for us. We were supposed to stay with a family but since our flight got delayed, we had to book here for the meantime. The late night airport transfer (airport pick-up) was the most convenient, as well as very helpful. The driver even offered to take us grocery shopping if needed. I mean, our flight arrived 1030pm via Korea (with 10hours layover) so both my teen son and I were exhausted. It's good to know we have someone reliable and friendly waiting for us. Despite the late night check-in, the staffs were smiling, cheerful and gave us a welcome lei necklace or shell necklace. It's my teen son's first time in Bohol, so he was happy at this unexpected welcome experience. Furthermore, our booking included a dinner for 2 but since we missed that due to our flight delay and will be checking out the next day, the staff changed that to 2 free lunch instead. That's another convenience for us, since our family will pick us up after lunch the next day. Our room and bathroom was clean and comfortable - 2 double beds, strong shower pressure, cold a/c and our room included a welcome water bottles for us, which again is an add on convenience for us (esp. arriving super late at night). With a teen in tow, WiFi is important. No issues on that as their WiFi was pretty strong. The hotel itself is situated in the quiet side of Pangloa, which is a plus for us exhausted travelers. We slept and rested very well that night after a nice hot shower. The next day, my teen was excited to look around the hotel property. The pool area was clean, huge and nicely decorated. It has that island feel to it. Unfortunately, it rained and there's a lightning/thunder alert hence he was unable to swim in the pool. However, we had fun strolling around the property. It has a welcoming vibe to it. We ate at their restaurant for lunch, even invited family over. Over all, a convenient, relaxing- stress free and comfortable overnight stay here. Will we stay here again? Definitely!
PPINGThe hotel is very close to the beach of Alona, very lively, may be a bit noisy at night, careful selection of bad sleep, the hotel wins in a good location, the price is cheap, other facilities are very general, breakfast can be packed and taken away, if you go to the sea, say in advance and the front desk. I will be ready the next day.
GGuest UserI always stayed at Alona Beach, but there were too many people and it was crowded, so I moved to a quieter place. Since it was in a place where local Filipinos live, it was quiet and secluded, there was no solicitation, and there was no noise from tuk-tuks or motorcycles, so it was really nice.
The room was clean and well-organized overall, and very spacious. Except for the weak water pressure in the bathroom, the air conditioner worked well, and the bedding was clean. There were a lot of ants, but I think that's to be expected in nature.
Since it's an open space on the main street, a security guard works at night for safety. It's close to Dolho Beach with white sand and the luxurious Modala Resort, so it's good for an outing.
MMichaelThe resort was quite quiet which is what we wanted, but felt like off season. There was some renovation and the restaurant closed a little earlier than we would have liked. (there was no information about renovation when we booked the resort)
Having said that, the resort was very clean and well looked after.
