Sukhothai Hotels with Balcony

My friend and I stayed at Thai Thai Sukhothai Resort as part of a road trip from Bangkok to Chiang Rai, and this place completely exceeded expectations. Walking into the room felt like stepping into a living museum of northern Thai heritage, dark teak walls, hand-carved furniture, Thai silk textiles, antique lamps, Persian rugs, and a stunning teal wainscoting with intricate carved details. Every single element has been thoughtfully curated. This is not a generic hotel room, it is a genuine work of art. The beds were incredibly comfortable, the room was spotlessly clean, and the air conditioning worked perfectly. The common areas are equally impressive, with warm lighting, velvet cushions, antique sideboards, and an atmosphere that feels like a beautifully preserved Thai mansion. Location is unbeatable. The Sukhothai Historical Park is visit a few minutes drive away. Don’t miss the in-house room massage. After a full afternoon cycling through the historical park in June heat, we booked the resort’s massage service and had the therapist come directly to our room. Lying on that antique teak bed after a full body massage, surrounded by all that beautiful decor, honestly one of the highlights of the entire road trip. One practical note for future guests: Being surrounded by lush tropical gardens means mosquitoes are part of the experience, especially in the evening. Come prepared with a good repellent and apply before your outdoor evening stroll. A small price to pay for such stunning natural surroundings, but worth knowing ahead of time. If you are driving through northern Thailand and need one night that feels truly special, stop here. Thai Thai Sukhothai Resort is the kind of place you’ll be talking about long after the trip is over. Absolutely outstanding value for money.

Clean and comfortable hotel. Although the air conditioner failed on the first night, the night staff immediately provided an electric fan for use and repaired it immediately the next morning. The room fee for the first night was refunded without saying anything 👍

It's a hotel with a very resort feel. It's clean, quiet and very comfortable. The hotel is in Xincheng, a bit far from the historical park. This is a bad point. Everything else is good. When going to the historical park by car, you should use Grap. Tutu randomly shouts prices. More expensive than grap.

We hadden een uitstekend verblijf! Mooie kamer in Thaise stijl. Fijn om aan het zwembad te liggen en een verfrissende duik te nemen! Mogelijkheid om gratis fietsen te lenen om de nieuwe stad te verkennen. Heel wat verschillende transfers mogelijk bij het hotel zelf (afhankelijk van locatie tegen betaling of gratis). Het eten bij het restaurant van het hotel is erg lekker. Maar het allerbeste aan dit hotel is het personeel. Zo behulpzaam, geduldig en vriendelijk! Dit hotel is echt een pareltje!

Le Foresto Sukhothai Guesthome est une véritable perle pour les voyageurs à la recherche de calme et de confort dans un cadre charmant. Cet hôtel a su combiner une atmosphère paisible avec des prestations de qualité, rendant le séjour particulièrement agréable. L’établissement est d’une beauté remarquable, avec une architecture moderne intégrée dans un cadre verdoyant. La petite piscine, bien entretenue, est idéale pour se détendre après une journée passée à explorer les environs. Le calme qui règne ici est parfait pour se ressourcer. Le petit-déjeuner, copieux et varié, est également un des points forts de l’hôtel, offrant un excellent début de journée. À proximité, le bar-restaurant Chopper constitue une excellente adresse pour les repas ou un moment de détente en soirée. L’ambiance y est conviviale et la qualité des plats proposée est au rendez-vous, ce qui en fait un complément parfait à l’expérience offerte par le Foresto Sukhothai Guesthome. En résumé, le Foresto Sukhothai Guesthome est une excellente option pour un séjour à Sukhothai. Entre son cadre apaisant, sa piscine agréable et ses prestations de qualité, cet établissement garantit une expérience mémorable. Je recommande vivement cet hôtel à ceux qui souhaitent allier confort, tranquillité et proximité des bonnes adresses locales comme le Chopper.

The room was clean and there was fan inside (no aircon). But it still wasn't fresh enough inside a room. It was too hot even with opened window. Bedsheet was clean as well but it was cheap made from polyester. Mattress was tough. They also offer a normal blanket (not just the second linen) and towel (also made from polyester). It was quiet in the room. As for bath and toilet it was kind of local one but it was also clean. There was kind of hot water (but it wasn't necessary because everywhere inside and outside was too hot), no any shampoo/shower gel but there was soup and toilet paper. There was no any kettle in the room. Every time you need a hot drinking water you have to go to reception desk to have it. Internet connection was too much unstable and speed was too slow. I just almost had no possibility to use it. Located in 5 mins walking distance from bus terminal and has an option for bike/motorbike rental. The staff was accomodating and friendly.

We stayed for three consecutive days, rented a car, and explored all the attractions around Sukhothai. Overall, it wasn't crowded, there were many historical sites, and the scenery was beautiful. If you have time, you can explore at your own pace and appreciate it fully. There's a small 24-hour Big C supermarket and a self-service laundry station within 1 kilometer of the hotel, which is quite convenient. Airports are usually perceived as busy, but Sukhothai's airport is very unique—a garden airport. It's worth experiencing if you have the chance.

This standard hotel offers a decent value for a private room and private parking, especially if you're traveling by car or motorcycle. However, be prepared for a bit of a workout if you're assigned a room on the third floor, as there's no elevator. The location can feel a bit isolated, particularly if you don't have your own transportation. Despite these minor drawbacks, the friendly and helpful staff make the stay more pleasant. If you're just passing through and need a budget-friendly place to stay with parking, this hotel is a solid choice.

The overall is still very good, only the pillow is too high, it is recommended, very convenient to be very close to the scenic spot

Although the equipment is not very good, there are some, more than 500 Thais should be considered a good level. And each room has a balcony, not far from the city center, no toothbrush and toothpaste are provided, but there is a sale next to the counter. There is a breakfast bar. There are not many but at least it is free. It is great.
