We decided to stay at this hotel for a couple of days to hike the volcano and enjoy the Kintamani area. The hotel is located right next to Mount Batur. We had a room with a fantastic view of the volcano and the lake. Of course, we made use of the bathtub on the balcony – it's a shame no bubble bath was provided, though! Overall, we really liked the hotel, and everything was great. However, there were a couple of downsides: stains on the bed linen and no air conditioning, just a ceiling fan. Even though it's a mountainous region, the room still felt stuffy and hot. All in all, I recommend this hotel if you're planning to stay for a few days.

Incredibly beautiful. I've never stayed in such a stunning place and hotel before. I recommend it 10000%! If you're looking for peace, nature, and tranquility, this is the spot. It's much cooler here than in other areas of Bali, so bring warm clothes; even during the day, you can get cold by the pool because of the wind. The restaurant has delicious food, and the breakfasts are good! The hotel can arrange a volcano tour for you, either hiking or a jeep tour. We did the Mount Batur hiking tour, and it was cheaper than booking online. You can also book a car with a driver. The staff are polite and pleasant.

The room offered a good view, and the rooftop pool was warm. The breakfasts were simple but tasty.
On the downside: there's no air conditioning, so you have to regulate the temperature by opening the window, which can let in mosquitoes (we bought repellent from a local store for 16k). There's also a fan provided.
The main issue, however, is that the toilet is practically right next to the bed, separated only by a thin partition, so you'll definitely need to get very comfortable with each other.

We had an unforgettable stay at Desa Oculus! Our double room offered a breathtaking view of Lake Batur — waking up to that scenery was pure magic. The attention to detail is impressive: the room has everything you could possibly need, from high-quality toothbrushes to delicious drip coffee that we enjoyed on the balcony. The breakfast was exceptional, definitely one of the highlights of our trip. If you’re looking for comfort and stunning views in Kintamani, this is the place to be!

The best view ever! That alone makes up for the hotel being a bit run down. There's a bathtub on the balcony where you can lie back and gaze at the volcano and lake. The shower is beautifully designed, also with a large window. I also enjoyed the spa.

Scenic view of mt batur, clean facilities, yummy food at the restaurant, pretty rooftop pool. Very IGWORTHY!
Recommended to stay at least a night and to check in early to chill at the pool or in the room!

Suite with a very beautiful view. The shower is designed like a small hammam. There are bathrobes, slippers, candies, fruits, and a delicious breakfast with a view ♥️
