Neo+ was fine for a 2 night stay. It’s only 3 years old, so I was surprised at how well worn the room was, but it was pretty clean. The aircon leaked all over the floor on my first night but was ok the second. WiFi didn’t work well at all. Bathroom was quite sp**** - could have done with a couple of small towels and a hair dryer. Breakfast was mostly Asian with an egg station and toaster. The big negative for me was the location - not the best of locations for a visitor, and quite a long way from anything. Down by the water is far nicer.

We had an absolutely amazing time at Ibis's Hottel. The rooms were spacious and spotless, with great decor and crisp bed sheets.F@B : The breakfast buffet was delicious, with a huge variety of options! The staff were attentive and went out of their way to ensure that we were comfortable. Nothing was too much . I would have Luxurious impression. Other than that, I can’t fault the place and will definitely go back. Thank you Ibis👍

Brief overnight stay. Everything was fine. The room was comfortable and spacious. The balcony and sea view was a bonus. Nice big shower in the bathroom but no hand towels. Wi-Fi was good but required a different log-in when outside the room. In the common areas, the gym was good and pretty well equipped. The covered pool was a bit small and random. Unfortunately we had to skip breakfast as we had a very early flight to catch.

The staffs were very helpful and friendly, could communicate efficiently for given the information about groceries mart near by. The internet connection was fast and smooth. The room was clean. Once again, thank you for your services

Stayed for 1 night in Swiss-Belinn Balikpapan, overall was very good experience. The staff was helpful and friendly, breakfast was good and had lot of options, the room was clean and tidy. Very recommended !!

When this hotel is fully opened it will be a really good place to stay if you want to relax and have the convenience of the shopping mall and nearby entertainment. I had booked this because of the pool and spa, but unfortunately, their opening had been delayed (hence the four rather than five stars). This was a huge disappointment - but I have to say a huge thank you to the duty manager, Erik, who made a point of finding me and introducing himself after hearing about my dismay regarding the swimming pool. His assistance and alternative recommendations more than made up for my initial disappointment and I enjoyed my stay there. It is clear he is passionate about his job and ensuring guests have a good experience. From the moment I arrived, I was given a warm welcome and all the staff were incredibly friendly and went out of their way to help with questions and requests. The rooms are comfortable and very clean. I had a sea view but couldn't actually sit out on the balcony which was tiny. I thought the breakfast offer pretty good - unlike some of the earlier reviews - and I enjoyed relaxing in the Lobby area for tasty dinners. It's early days still but this hotel has so much potential and I wish Erik and his staff the very best. (The water park pool WAS open but full of families and not conducive to relaxing - very few sun loungers).

We booked a family room for few days trip, and unfortunately, we didn't have the best experience at the hotel. Service: (+) Firstly, I'd like to acknowledge the kind front office for helping us getting an early check in (1 hour earlier though). (-) The second day we had our room cleaned, when we came into our room, the latch lock stucked the door, so anyone would easily open the door without access card! Fortunately there were nothing missing, we immediately called a complain but no further response or apologize from the hotel. Room: We got an (approx. 40m2) apartment-like unit consisting of 2 rather small bedrooms. Since we were with little kids, so it didn't bother us, but the unit might be cramped for family with bigger kids. (+) Plus point here is we got a small pantry, but no room service menu etc like hotels in general, pretty much felt like renting a daily apartment unit. (-) There were lots of hair on bathroom drain when we enter the room. The worst part is: there were RATS (or unknown animals?) in the ceiling of our unit!! They were very noisy running around every night, made me feel anxious and woke me up few times during my sleep. Facilities: (+) The breakfast was decent though, there were quite various menu, the restaurant was clean and well designed as well. (-) When I was about to take my kids to swim, we witnessed a rat running into the pool drain. The pool wasn't very clean as well, so I immediately called off the plan. The best thing about the hotel is it is located within the same building with Pentacity Mall. For such experiences I had during my stay, I'm most likely not going to stay for the second time.

Location is wonderful. But little dirty and too much noisy. I can hear clearly the outside store music sound until late time and traffic sound also. For the more, The room was not soundproofed at all, so I could hear sounds from the room next door and the hallway very clearly.

Front office staff very fast for check in process, room was clean, but for wastafel is not working properly, water still stack on wastafel bowl. ”HOT WATER” Not working really Bad Experience during stay with this property Facility OK ( Gym center & Swimming pool) For F&B Skybar food ( Nasi Goreng & Spaghetti Carbonara nicely) For Breakfast all Food was Nice & Taste Specially for ”Pecel” Very tasty All Staff very friendly and always help us during stay with this Property

This is probably the best hotel in Balikpapan. The room is clean and comfortable. All the staffs are polite and professional from the front desk to the F&B department. The room service menu could be improve further but I love my Ayam Penyet and Soto Soup. Excellent food. Bfast buffet spread was also very good. Thanks to Karen and Inka for always making sure that all our needs are met. We will be back again soon.
