Needs to be freshened up
Hotel was very outdated. Badly needs to be freshened up. But on the up-side the Staff were really friendly and breakfast very good

Base for weekend break
We use this hotel as a base for exploring the surrounding area. Everywhere we visited was an hour or so away. It was reasonably priced, although breakfast wasn't included. All the staff were encountered were genuinely friendly and helpful. Despite the weather being bad we didn't mind spending the extra time at the hotel as our room was warm, spacious and comfortable.
The WiFi signal isn't the best and couldn't be realied upon by someone who is very digitally dependant.
Efforts have been made to made to maintain the hotel but there are a few areas that are the worse for wear but a bit of tlc would go a long way to update it.

Samstagabend auf unserer Irland Rundtour: Leider waren alle anderen Hotels belegt. Wir haben die Entscheidung trotzdem bereut! Das Zimmer an sich war soweit okay, groß, aber schon ganz schön abgenutzt. Das Bad war leider nicht akzeptabel. Bodenbelag hat sich abgelöst, Amaturen haben nicht funktioniert und der schimmelähnliche Belag an der Wandverkleidung möchten wir nicht weiter kommentieren. Dass wir dann beim Frühstück noch circa 30 Minuten warten mussten hat den Eindruck nur bestätigt. Den einen Punkt haben wir nur gegeben, weil das Gastgeber-Ehepaar nett war.

Wasn't expecting too much, but it was very pleasant, only a few minutes walk back into Ballina and a very nice breakfast. Easy parking as well which isn't the case with some other hotels locally.

Beautiful and friendly hotel in the west of Ireland. Fantastically close to many places so you can base yourself and tour. Staff are fantastic, food is amazing and bar is well stocked. Couldn’t recommend highly enough.

Really lovely hotel, made great by the staff. Whilst it’s a bit dated it’s good value for money, a breakfast far tastier than many 4*s and rooms a comfortable size for a family of four. The staff went above and beyond and met our every need. Short walk to ballina’s best playground and the food options both at the hotel and nearby are fab
