Very clean, awesome Location. Fantastic view. Delicious food. Extremely friendly staff. I will definitely come again. Absolutely recommend this location. The staff picked me up at the airport, received me with a three course Dinner and accompanied me the following day on a breath-taking hike

A group of six of us stayed at the Balthali Mountain Resort for two nights during late October 2023. We found the resort to be absolutely beautiful - the units are spacious and comfortable and most have mountain views. The hosts were very amenable and welcoming, meals were excellent and the general ambience of the resort was extremely good. I would heartily recommend this resort.

Balthali Mountain Resort is the best destination nested between the lush green forest. The mountain view on the north and beautiful terraces. We were in a yoga retreat. I have felt the positive energy. Our group of yogis enjoyed the yoga session we had . The sufficient goya space with fresh environment and healthy Yogic food that was offered by the hotel were our perfect experience.

Located in Kavre district, which is close to the capital Kathmandu, Balthali is developing into a short holiday destination for everyone. A week ago, I also had the privilege of spending one night two days at Balthali Mountain Resort located in Panauti Municipality 11, Kavre. Balthali Mountain Resort in the lap of beautiful Hills is excellent for a short day stay. The resort will fully satisfy the guests with delicious food dishes according to their wishes. From local to modern types of food as well as the friendly hospitality of the resort staff is unforgettable. Clean rooms, beautiful decoration made my one day stay unforgettable. When you wake up in the morning and look towards the north, you will really be enchanted by the series of alluring Himalayas. In addition, the beautiful fertile grain production fields below the resort will make you enchanted. Looking at the orange garden is tempting. In the same way, Ladkeshwar Mahadev temple is also a good place for a short hike along with the darshan of Lord Shiva, which is nearby in the morning. I really liked the hospitality of Balthali Mountain as well as the location, so I recommend to all those who haven't been to enjoy Balthali Mountain Resort once. Nach neun Tagen Trekking im Himalaya waren meine zwei Tage im Balthali Mountain Resort der perfekte Ort sich auszuruhen und erholen. Eine traumhafter Ausblick, Ruhe und grüne Berge genoss ich bei gutem Essen und Trinken.

Wir waren dort für zwei Nächte mit einer kleinen Gruppe und haben eine Wanderung nach Namo Buddha unternommen. Nach der Seightseeingtour in Kathmandu und einer Woche Trecking im Himalaya war das der perfekte Platz zum Ausspannen. Toller Ausblick und vor allem Ruhe! Man lauscht den Fröschen und Vögeln und genießt die gute Küche. Der Chef Mani spricht sehr gut Deutsch und hat viele Ideen, was man vor Ort unternehmen kann, da er auch selbst viele Jahre als Reiseleiter gearbeitet hat. Rundum zu empfehlen.

I had a great time here, but it was an unusual visit due to COVID. I practically had the whole resort to myself. There were plenty of different views to see, which was my favorite part. The resort is right on top of a ridge, so depending on where you are in the resort, you can see a different area. If the weather permits, you can see the Himalayas, but I really enjoyed looking at the terrace farms. The food was tasty too, and the meals come with multiple courses if you choose. My favorite was the chicken sizzler, but the chicken momos come in at a close second. The room and service was great as well, and I don't have any complaints. Overall, awesome place to decompress and relax while taking in some good views and mountain air!
