As another review mentioned, I had a very similar experience at the BadaLodge. I came to visit Mali and went to this place with friends who were all Malians (maybe they just don't like Malians/kids ?). As we enter, we were being stared at by the staff. One person approached us to "make sure" we were going to spend money. When we said YES! then they looked at my canon camera and said that was illegal on premises. Mind you, I had not even taken a single picture. We were asked to leave because I was traveling with a canon camera with my friends. The manager could not point to anything that stated this and insisted we were not welcome to stay. BadaLodge should be embarrassed at how they treat customers!

Nous sommes arrivés en 4, vers 12h00. Nous avons immédiatement spécifié que une personne parmi nous été là juste pour le déjeuner, qu'elle ne va pas utiliser la piscine ni une 4ème chaise longue. Nous avons donc occupé 3 chaises longues, nous avons mangé, et la 4ème personne est parti après le déjeuner. À la fin de la journée ils ont demandé que la 4ème personne paie "l'accès au jardin", soit 10.000 Fcfa. 10.000 Fcfa pour quoi ?! Pour rester assis 2 heures sur une chaise longue (partagée) et manger. Un vol ! La prochaine fois il faut être honnête et nous dire dès l'arrivée qu'on doit payer l'accès jardin! C'est dommage, maintenant nous devons chercher un autre endroit pour passer nos dimanches.

Je suis très déçu !!!!! Faire 1h de route arrivé à destination dire que la piscine est inaccessible Aucune information sur le net !!! Personne ne décroche le téléphone sa nous aurait éviter la perte de temps Merci pour les enfants !!

Cadre certes agréable mais prix totalement abusifs et injustifiés. L’accès au jardin/piscine était à 15.000fcfa par personne. Aucunes justifications pour ces prix littéralement doublés depuis ma dernière visite. C’est dommage car c’est un bel endroit pour passer ses week-end. NOUS N’Y RETOURNERONS PLUS, d’autres très belles piscines à Bamako proposent des tarifs deux fois moins cher pour un meilleur service.

Pour ceux qui ont l’habitude ou non d’aller au Mali et/ou comptent s’y rendre prochainement, je vous DÉCONSEILLE VIVEMENT le Badalodge. C’est un complexe hôtelier situé à Kalababougou qui propose un accès à leur piscine. Nous avons été étonnées aujourd’hui de nous voir refuser l’accès à la piscine en tant que femmes voilées car je cite « Les burkinis sont interdits, seuls les maillots de bains sont autorisés » Je rappelle la définition du burkini « Tenue de baignade portée par certaines musulmanes, couvrant entièrement le corps à l'exception du visage, des mains et des pieds. Nous avons pu constater aussi ques des hommes étaient autorisés à se baigner en short non adaptés à la baignade type short de foot alors que je rappelle que « …seuls les maillots de bain sont autorisés. » Je trouve ça inadmissible que dans un pays à majorité musulmane (~95%) on se retrouve avec les mêmes problématiques qu’en France par exemple. Cette situation réduit considérablement l’accès des activités aquatiques aux femmes musulmanes. Je dissuade donc fortement d’y aller et de privilégier d’autres espaces où l’on respecte la culture locale et les choix des femmes musulmanes.
