Small hotel in the beautiful old town of Bamberg. Everything is within easy walking distance, such as Hoffmann's Streak & Fish. Friendly staff and sufficient breakfast. Underground parking spaces are only allocated after check-in. The walls are not very soundproof, however.

The hotel is in desperate need of renovation. During my night stay here, the toilet broke, the air conditioner broke, and it’s really not an air conditioner. It’s just sort of like venting system. The door broke several times and finally they had to replace a battery in the door. The staff employees at the reception desk are very nice. they have really tried to help but the hotel is just extremely old and everything is broken. Today I came and tried to get my card key and I’ve been leaving the card key at the front desk it’s the old kind and if it touches the cell phone then it won’t work. No one was at the front desk for 15 minutes. Finally someone came and the card still didn’t work because the battery in the door had to be replaced. I didn’t even know doors had batteries. I cannot stress enough how hard the employees are trying, but the hotel is just not up to standards.

I was there for a day because I went to Till Lindemann's concert. I was pleasantly surprised by the hotel. Quiet location, friendly and helpful staff. Breakfast was completely adequate with a wide range of options. Everything is within easy walking distance.

large double room with beds, but mini barhroom. Basic outdated bf space.
