I stayed at A2 for 3 nights. The fan room was 300 baht per night, and the AC room was 420 baht per night. I think it's great value for money to have a bathroom at this price. There is no loud bar music and it's quiet. The hotel is located in a back alley across the river next to Phra Sumen Fort. It's a bit hard to find, but you'll get used to it. Buses 15, 82, 53, and Don Mueang Airport leave from the street where Phra Sumen Fort is located, about a 5-minute walk from the hotel, so access is not bad. There are many local restaurants around the hotel, including a bami stall. There were also many expensive restaurants for tourists. I recommend the bami stall in front of the 7-Eleven. It's common for guesthouses in Khao San to have thin walls, but this one was quiet. I think the facilities and quietness are highly rated for this price. Cleaning is not included, but towels and paper are available if you ask. The Wi-Fi was stable and fast.
