The location is convenient, close to restaurants and bars. However, it may not be suitable for someone who wants to be in a clean outdoor area, as there were rats running around. The property looks nice from the outside and gives off a luxurious vibe, attracting expensive-looking guests. But inside, it’s a different story. The property itself is quite old and needs renovations and upgrades. It doesn’t give off a clean and modern vibe for the price you pay.
The "lobby" is small and overcrowded, near the lifts. There’s a reception desk with too many people and too much noise, making it overwhelming. It doesn’t allow you to experience the place itself, sit down, or relax. The sink and toilet were clogging up fast at one point.
The view from the apartment was quite nice, and the breakfast was decent. The receptionists were kind and friendly. However, the overcrowding and noise in the "lobby" made it difficult to concentrate on your own business. The lady who helped us in was Indian and kindly helped us book a car for the next day to go to Koh Samet. However, she was interrupted multiple times while speaking to us, which was rude and unwelcoming. They should have more staff so that guests can check in without interruptions.
The lady's kindness in booking a car for us was appreciated. However, we were quoted 3500 from the hotel to Rayong ferry station by a guy in the hotel. Later, we found out that the same trip costs 1800/2000 baht, which was disappointing. I wouldn’t suggest booking transport from the hotel, but rather book elsewhere where you can get the same service for a cheaper price.
Overall, Frasier Suites seems to be a brand based on its reputation and the type of guests (middle class-ish), but it doesn’t offer anything special or interesting.
