Hotels in Silom/Sathon, Bangkok

Everything was okay for this hostel. The thing i liked it there was having two tables outside that can smoke and chill in the morning. Coffee is able to order in there. Reasonable price. Nothing bad as i had read on the reviews from many platforms. One thing, we were two ppl but at the lobby provided one towel. Bathrooms in each floor with male and female separated. Close to MRT and 3mins approx to 7-11on the same road. 300baht refundable deposit is required. Not bad for the first time hostel :)

Excellent location. The metro station and BTS are located within walking distance of the hotel. I am satisfied with the overall cleanliness of the hotel.

RED PLANET SURAWONG is a 3-star hotel with a view of the Ritz-Carlton Maha Nakhon and downtown Silom and Sathorn. This is a busy area. What makes this property fun is the **** shop downstairs, Cloud Nine, and a cute 7 Eleven. The building also has 2 restaurants... Khua Kling Pak Sod and ??🤔 The rooms are comfortable enough. Tiny refrigerator. Hair dryer. Big flat screen tv. Housekeeping is a guy and a girl from Burma. They are pretty thorough with the cleaning. I stayed for 7 days and was happy with the staff. Not perfect but they are young and training and learning. They seem to have a good heart❤️, though. ###

Nice hotel, easy check in. Good room with a shower and a bath seperate. Very bug double bed and good choice of international tv channels. Hotel allowed us to use the pool facilities after we checked out and showers were found in the changing rooms. Now, an absurd card system to turn on the lights caused much confusion when we got into our room. Have to place it in at a strange angle. Other than that, all good.

We stayed here for two nights on a layover between flights from the UK to Australia. I booked this because it was cheap (and I am cheap), and because it offered a very cheap ”family suite” option of two interconnecting rooms. I was travelling with my 11-year-old daughter and this seemed like a good option for us both getting an undisturbed sleep. I'm an Accor member, and have stayed in Ibis Styles hotels in several places around the world. They're generally OK. This place was way above normal Ibis Styles standards. This hotel is very new: it had been open for a couple of months when we stayed. The location is good. It's very close to Sala Daeng BTS and not far from Silom MTR. It's on a major road. However, it is down its own little alleyway, so it is isolated from traffic noise. It's a private, dedicated alleyway, with a good smooth surface and good lighting, not a scary dark alleyway. The lobby is light and airy and really nicely decorated, with floor cushions on a stairway which is a nice place to sit around. Check-in was great. The receptionist was friendly and helpful, and gave me all the information I needed. She even showed us to our room, which was on the ground floor. She apologised for it being on the ground floor, but really this was fine. The rooms were lovely. There was a door which closed us off from the rest of the corridor, meaning that we had a section of corridor to ourselves and could leave our doors open if we wanted to. The rooms were brightly coloured and extremely clean. The shower areas were huge. The beds were incredibly comfortable, with nice soft duvets. My one caveat is that these rooms were great for us, because there was one person in each room. It might be less good if there were two of you in a room. The showers are glass, and look directly onto the bed. There's a blind, and the door is partially frosted, but if you were lying in bed, even with the shower blind down, you could see the head and feet of the person in the shower. Also, the sink is in the room, rather than in a separate bathroom, so there's no privacy when you're brushing your teeth or shaving or whatever. Again, great for one person: you can watch TV while brushing your teeth or showering, but maybe not great for two people. The TV had very limited channels - for English I think there was only al-Jazeera, ChannelNewsAsia and RT. But it had YouTube built in, so you could find yourself something good to watch. The TV was a decent size - maybe 40”. WiFi was very fast and free. The breakfast buffet was small, but really good. The food was lovely. The pool area is great. It's on the roof, and it's shaded in the afternoon by surrounding buildings. From one end of the pool there is a good view across the city, even though it's only on the 9th floor. The bar by the pool did some lovely mocktails too. This hotel was unbelievably cheap - less than US$40 per night for one room - but it did not feel like

This hotel is near Silom from the metro, it is necessary to take 700 meters but a number of other hotels for a small price and good quality no room cozy clean staff friendly welcome there is a safe Condishen good Waifai only there is no beautiful location and basein and so everything is great

Of all the hotels available in Bangkok, we chose to stay with Pullman Bangkok Hotel G this time around as we have not stayed here before and usually we'll go with another hotel group's portfolio due to the benefits and all. However, with very little expectations we have, I can say that I am very disappointed with what they offered. We arrived at the hotel 8pm+- but yet our room which is not even a suite or special deco was required. No! Just a standard room we need and paid for. Fine we went for dinner and came back an hour later. Surprisingly, we were given another room type which was the previous design I suppose? We wanted the white room and that's what we have paid for, and no one mentioned to us that it was not available at all. So when we entered the room and found out the room type was different, I called to the front desk to check what happened. The lady who answered my phone cannot handle my questions I guess? She hung up on me, then another lady spoke to me. She said sorry the room type was not available, and she asked me to just take whatever was given. They will find a solution tomorrow. Well, just guess what went through my head. After some high pitch scream we got our room at the end. So... yeap. Sounds like bully. Other than that, location is ok... kind of awkward cuz walking to the BTS is a bittt far but taking a cab is funny. Overall still ok just keep walking... The restaurant / bar at the lobby floor 25 Degree is awwwweeesooommmmeee! Love everything about it! Esp the pancake! Oh ya, breakfast is great too! Yum yum! Pool is quite small though, and can't get much UV for tanning if that's your plan. I won't say it's horrible but won't be in my Top 3 hotel in BKK.

Regardless of the age of the hotel, it is still managed and maintained in a good condition. Also the location is surely one of the best in the area of Silom. In terms of software, it is the best so far as I have stayed in other 4 star properties in Silom, namely the one across the road start with H and the one down the road with F. Staff are exceptionally friendly and courtesy that I can feel the Thai hospitality on this trip to Thailand. The breakfast is so good that it could be up to a 5 star hotel standard. And the staff at the restaurant are up to par especially the gentleman Pipong, a million dollar smile so sincere and heart warming to see in the morning. His observation and management skills have impressed me when my table was invaded by a group of uncivilized people. Nevertheless I still encountered an unpleasant experience with the housekeeping staff. He took my room key from the key slots and kept it in his pocket after hr cleaned up my room. Seemingly he doesn't know the difference of my key, a guest key from his stuff key. In short, using them falsely will result in big trouble if anything is lost or stolen in my room. Fortunately the front desk staff re-issued another set of new keys and delivered to my door step. Later on., the hotel sent me a welcome snack as a good gesture for the mistake they made. Regretfully I did not get the name of the front desk staff, her performance in following up with my case is professional and sweet. Last but not least, there are a few things about the hotel that is a bit tricky for a guest who never stayed before. The DND switch is located in an awkward position see attached picture for details. The bathroom is a bit small relative to the room. In order to turn on the TV, you need to press 2 buttons on the remote control. . I can't find any charging plug with USB insert, which is no very common nowadays. Luckily I bought my own plug. The hotel provides 4 bottles of 500ml water each day, this is really good for I am a thirsty person. I will definitely stay at this hotel on my next trip to BKK again.

Hap Satorn is a nice guesthouse with big rooms and a very comfortable bed. The location is convenient, close to MRT station Lumphini and Lumphini park. Internet speed is good. There is no elevator, so you have to walk up stairs. The hotel provides hot water in the lobby for tea.

I stayed there with my business partner. Everything was good. Location is good, lots of massages and local food around. Staff are very friendly and helpful. except the lady who was working at Spaghetti’s and Pad Thai station on May 10th we went there for lunch buffet. She wasn’t friendly and moody. 🥹
