I chose the hotel since it's my first solo trip. And I'm glad that I've made the right choice and to have breakfast at the hotel. I was able to relax in the clean comfortable room and bed with great view, felt secured as the surrounding is well lit even at night and it's convenient as it's opposite Emporium mall and Phrom Phong BTS is just a few mins walk away. There are a few massage places just a step away too. All of the staff are courteous, friendly and smiley. The receptionists were accommodating on my requests of the room etc. The pool, on the highest floor, is decent and quiet to hang in the early morning before it gets crowded. I enjoyed getting a little sun, breeze and some quiet time with my book. As for the breakfast, don't expect international buffet lines, but the varieties were suited for all international guests. I especially enjoyed the fresh greens available throughout the 3 days. That said, I wish to bring attention on few points to improve. i. I wish there are more movie channels available as majority are either local dramas or variety shows. ii. I realised that staff at the reception only greet the male guests as I leave the hotel for the day. iii. The pastries need to be improved as they're dry and lack buttery fragrance. Overall, I still enjoyed my stay at Mercure and will definitely return, be it another solo trip or with my family.

Sukhumvit
We booked 3 rooms and were given the 4th floor. The rooms are spacious but there is a somewhat musty smell in the rooms. I got the side where we face the condos instead of the Main Street so was spared the noisy bands playing till the wee hours. My friends were not so lucky and didn’t have a good night sleep. They change rooms the next day and were fortunately given a higher floor and away from facing the Main Street. Their rooms on the higher floors seems to be cleaner and does not have a musty smell. My room didn’t have slippers and water but my friends were given. Hence a little queer with the housekeeping standards. The hotel location was in the middle of a club street so depending on your preference. Although we don’t party but I felt comfortable with the stay but could be better. It was also near the Nana BTS and east to find food and convenience stores.

*Kind staff especially Pilot Florida *Bad location and disorganized shuttle service and unwillingness of the staff to respond and provide guidance regarding bus and metro lines *Breakfast was acceptable but there are not many things like pasta for kids and you have to ask the chef *There is no way from inside the hotel to the street behind the hotel, but you can walk from the building next to the hotel for a few minutes to reach the street behind the hotel (Phetchaburi Rd), where you can easily take a bus to everywhere such as MBK or Chaina Twon, etc. And save yourself from the high cost of taxis and tuk-tuks. The Bangkok bus app called Viabus will help you a lot, and the indrive app for taxis is cheaper and more accessible than grab. *A big problem that I observed during my two stay at this hotel is the lack of welcoming the guest at the beginning of the arrival, and because the reception is on the eighth floor, you have to carry your things there yourself and no one greets you. *As a friendly recommendation to other Bangkok hotels, think twice *Important note: child stay with parents is free for under 12 years old at maximum 2 children in the same room without any extra bed. Breakfast is also free.

Siam
I recently stayed at the Mercure Bangkok Siam Hotel and had an excellent experience. The hotel's location is unbeatable, situated right next to the National Stadium BTS station, making it easy to explore the city. The rooms were modern, clean, and well-equipped with all the necessary amenities, ensuring a comfortable stay. The bathroom equipped with pipe for easy washing afterwards. The staff was exceptionally friendly and helpful, always ready to assist with a smile. Additionally, the rooftop pool provided a stunning view of the Bangkok skyline, perfect for unwinding after a day of sightseeing. However the condition is quite windy. Overall, the Mercure Bangkok Siam Hotel offers great value for money, combining convenience, comfort, and excellent service. highly recommend it for both business and leisure travelers.
