Excellent location, great little pool, wonderful breakfast and cafe. So convenient for tour service and a short walk from the ferry to go across the river to visit the Grand Palace. A huge thank you to all of the staff for the extra help in shuttling me to try to get cash.

The facilities of this hotel are very complete. Even if you forget to bring a plug adapter, you can borrow one from the front desk. The owner of the hotel is very good. He invited me to drink and chat with him, which gives me a feeling of home. Originally, I only booked for 3 days, but after checking in, I added 7 days. Hahahaha

The room is not bad, relatively clean. I stayed there for many days. The 500 baht deposit is required and the front desk service attitude is also very good. There are 711 100 meters in and out of the hotel. The air conditioning is very effective. The rooms all have balconies. Try to choose a room on the inside or one on the roadside. The room can be a bit noisy, but overall it's not bad

Okay. So this is my third stay in this place. In the same building they have D&D and in the park. The location is still perfect even I didn't go to the bars because I just had no mood all those days I stayed.
Why I booked the hotel is the pool! It's amazing. The view. The comfort. I have spent all my mornings, days and evenings there when it was not raining just to chill. And I will come back here after a week also because of that lovely pool. Another plus is the bed - It's huge!!! And super comfy.
Now minuses
- it looks like there is a balcony on the photo, and I am a smoker so I wanted a balcony, but....it's just a window that faces to the wall and the sound of working a/c was terrible.
- shower....you can't turn it left or right, so it's hard to wash what you need to wash and the water hits direct on your head like stones
- plugs. There was ONLY one plug. That was very uncomfortable.
And one more.....it's not about a hotel, but about the agencys downstairs. A warm warn for another students not to make out mistake. When I will.come back to this hotel I will visit that lady and ask her for that trip she sold.
Attention. If you stay in BKK in Khaosan road and decide to take a bus from BKK to Phuket or Samui doooooont buy a ticket from the agencies down the hotels. Never ever. I paid double price from it coasts if to take a bus from the bus station only because I have 3 heavy luggages. And I was promised we would be take direct from the hotel which was super convenient. So in the end with all my luggages I went by walk all those crowded streets for like 10 minutes. After all of us were waiting for the bus for another 40 minutes. And the bus.....it was a nightmare. It was made before my grandma was born. Super old. Uncomfortable. So it was 18:40 when we started our fantastic journey. At 5 a.m we stopped in some area called Surat Thani. Where are we still. We all need to wait till....8:30!!!! Just on the street. This is ridiculous! And a small, old minivan supposed to come. Learn on my bad experience and doooon't buy a tickets from the agencies on Khaosan.

The location was ideal for the type of trip we selected. It seemed as though the hotel had recently been renovated and the room we had booked was pretty big - a triple. The shower and bathroom were also big enough and the rooms amenities were sufficient enough. The night staff were quite friendly and helpful but the day staff were quite hostile and unfriendly. The location of the hotel was right in the middle of Khaosan road which is ideal if you’re looking for a good party every night but a distance if you’re lugging big bags as you’re transport does not arrive at the hotel entrance. However there are many really nice cafes and restaurants close by. Also there’s a lot of other attractions very near. The rooftop bar and pool area is also a really nice spot to relax and unwind. All in all, it was really good value for money.

Photos absolutely not corresponding to the reality. Microscopic camera. Absurd noise. Ideal for groups of young boys and wanting to take late in the evening ... The noise that comes out is overwhelming. The violet tower is without lift ... Good climb to the third floor with bags in a micro scale ... I'm fortunately gonna have my bag . Every time you open a rubber (the washing machine is in the room to make you understand how small the room is) you feel noise of tubes that drop water. I can't say anything for cleaning.the clean but lacerated pencil cover. In short ... They have found another hotel in an area not suitable for making a hotel ...

It's not my first time in Khaosan palace. I kike the location, the rooms, the bed and the pool. Even before I didn't like there is nobody at the bar, nobody at the restaurant...having such a view it's a crime, that it only works till 7 pm, but this time it was a real problem, because the rooftop didn't work at all, it was all closed for ther reconstruction. So no pool during the day, jo terrace for the evening..... and there is no sign about it before booking, if I knew about I would book another hotel. You can go to swim to another hotel, but it's on another toad and the pool is like a tumu pond

Did 7 days quarantine in this hotel before TH Govt made quarantine 14 days. The room was modern, chic and much bigger than I expected. They give you a QR code to scan via WhatsApp or Line so communication with the staff is direct. Very useful. Nurse on duty is kind as well. Staff Yui and Firm are very helpfuI. I had some issues with my checkout however. The nurse informed me that I could check out one day earlier than in my confirmation and that was welcome news. Since I could Check out earlier, I asked if I would get a refund on the one night that I was supposed to stay and they said no. Staff said that checking out one day earlier is my option and I can stay one more night if I wanted 😅 They were explaining something about my arrival time in Thailand that allowed me to check out one day earlier. Touch down before 1800h in Thailand allows you to check out a night earlier apparently. I explained that the reservations department knew my arrival time and flight number (before 1800h). They still put my check out on my confirmation on a wrong date. I asked to speak manager to get further clarification but staff said the manager will only come in the afternoon. After days of quarantine, really just agreed so I could check out. Other than that, every thing is great. Food is excellent too! Security team was really kind and helpful. Will stay again to quarantine if I need to go TH again. Still hoping to get a refund of one night😅 Not to take away anything from reservations department, they replied promptly with last minute changes with my booking. Thank you Ibis for taking care of me 😁

The Ember Hotel was a gem of a hotel - really modern but in delightful Thai style. There was an interesting combination of modern art and traditional photographic imagery around the place, which added to its charm. The room was spacious, comfortable and clean. The staff were friendly and helpful.
The restaurant served an amazing selection for breakfast food, part self-service, part waitress service. Some interesting and delicious traditional Thai breakfasts on offer that are all worth a try. The evening menu was also great, although we opted to venture out into Bangkok for dinner on all but one of our nights there.
The location was great….a couple of streets along from Khoasan Road, which made it convenient to visit but remaining more quiet. Many of the popular tourist destinations were within walking distance, while others were an easy tuk-tuk or river taxi ride away.
Whilst not the least costly way to stay in Bangkok, the Ember gives the feel of contemporary luxury without being beyond our relatively modest means. Great value for money!

Outstanding
GGuest UserGreat hotel and great staff. We were well looked after by concierge Pai and his guys, and the cleaning, pool and front desk staff were all competent, friendly and helpful. My wife lost her phone and they found it for her; it rained and they had umbrellas for us and helped book taxies and Grab cars. The hotel is very new and the room was super modern and very well decorated, with a big new TV and great amenities. The bed was superb and the pillows were to die for. We were there for a week and this was one of the best hotel stays we have had in recent times and I highly recommend it. This is a very well-run hotel so I commend management as well. It does the Marriott group proud. Also, location is great just minutes from Asok BTS and MRT. Lots of food options on this Soi 20, as well as Soi's 22 and 18
CChoo TiongWe have celebrated our anniversary at the hotel.
The service of the hotel was excellent and the cleanliness was good too. The location of the hotel also quite convenient as it is next to MBK and also within walking distance to BTS. We enjoy the breakfast too.
We will definitely be back again.
GGuest UserIn my opinion this is a great short stay for lovers of art and design. It’s filled with lush things to look at and soak in. Room was lovely and clean with a funky design and reliable wifi. Staff were all great as well. I think this is best for a short stay as the location wasn’t particularly pleasant for walkability and getting out and about sight seeing. If you’re spending a bit of time in Bangkok with the view to seeing a lot, the location is a weak point. The art classes and spin classes looked great but I didn’t get a chance to try anything out. Everything is a bit pricey, and I think their beautiful rooftop and restaurant would be filled up more if it wasn’t so much. I found the menu a bit limited given how little alternatives are around the hotel. Happy hour on the roof is worth the trip though!
SSG 84Pros:
- 15-20min from Don Meung airport
- Great variety of breakfast
- Many restaurants near by
Cons:
- Bad soundproofing. When someone raise their voice at the corridor, i can hear it in the room.
- The music at the lobby is not welcoming and unsettling.
- no hooks for clothing in toilet and no toiletries rack in shower area
Take Note:
- the lobby is at second level, we are not sure whether there is a lift
- deposit of 1000 baht for key card, it costs even more than the room
- toothbrush and toothpaste can be purchased at reception
- staff needs to check room upon check out, so if you are catching a flight, please allow 10-15min for the room check.
GGuest UserWe stayed at this hotel for two nights while we were in Bangkok. The building is very nice and clean, our room was very well laid out. Roof top pool was nice as was the buffet breakfast. Good location with lots of places within walking distance or easy access to taxis and Tuk Tuks. Best part was the staff, friendly and professional service. Special thanks to front desk staff member Sawassakorn. He helped us out with taxis around the city, a local restaurant and arranged for a car to drive us to the airport.
GGuest UserI had the pleasure of staying at The Montien for 3 weeks 2 months ago when on a company-booked trip. My room and bed were extremely comfortable and spacious, with plenty of natural light and unobstructed views, quality amenities including a Nespresso machine. The Montien decor is modern, Thai style and beautiful. The breakfast buffet is bountiful, with plenty of variety. Pierre Pelletier, the Area General Manager and his team went above and beyond to ensure my stay was outstanding! Then this month when my family and I planned a vacation to Bangkok I picked this hotel as our base. The hotel is conveniently located for easy access to the sky and underground trains, many must-go-to restaurants, cafes, Siam Paragon, temples, Chinatown, night walks and more. We were welcomed with incredible 5-star Thai hospitality. Special mention to Khun Nu, her front desk team and night manager Khun Jew for handling flight delays, airport transfers and arranging pick up of lost luggage, Khun Tik for his world-class warm welcomes, Max’s regular assistance and taxi coordination, the ever-helpful and polite bellmen, Beer remembering our morning coffee preferences, Kae at Ruenton restaurant for looking after us at dinners, friendly Tanya at the lobby bar, the housekeeping team for keeping our 3 rooms impeccable and everyone who made our Bangkok vacation so memorable! It felt like our home away from home and we enjoyed our time here so much!
AAndrewTanthe hotel is at good location, walking distance to mrt and siam mall. However, the hotel need to improve their soundproof, I can hear the people walking passby the room, talking outside of the room and etc.
SSleepingbaby SawEnjoyed my stay in Hotel Furama Silom from 30th April 24 to 4th May 24. The room size and the bathroom are spacious, they also provide big bottles of Shower lotion and Shampoo with nice fragrance. Bed was very comfortable, Wifi decent and Air-con was good and cold.
Very good location and the transportation to Central World is very convenient. Close to 7-eleven just 2 doors down from the hotel. Overall, great value for money.
GGuest UserWhile the photos look great and the rooms were clean and fresh the approach is very daunting you walk down a narrow graffiti alley for almost 1 minute past garbage bins ,discarded trolleys, construction and just when you are sure you are in the wrong place you see the glass doors with the words ADAMAZ hotel engraved upon their tinted surfaces. We arrived during the day but had it been a late night arrival I would never have walked to the end. If first impressions matter to you then this is not the place for you. Once inside rooms were comfortable and staff were helpful -
GGuest User5 of 5 I love the location close to BTS and MRT, great place and convenient. Good for single and families, close to all the action and terminal 21 mall. It is brand the I Check through out Thailand. Rooms are good size and clean. Staff are polite and helpful, there are 24 hour front desk.
