Reception is very helpful and extremely welcoming.. Mariott always lives up to its name. It's the only hotel that allows me to change money into smaller change. Room is comfortable and cosy. Worth every single cent. Location is great too. 2 malls are within walking distance.

Definitely the nicest hotel in Baotou. Great location near good restaurants and very easy to get a taxi if you want to go further. Service was very help and breakfast had great Chinese and Western options. Even during Spring Festival everything was very clean and service was attentive. Will definitely stay again!

A really comfortable stay in this new and well decorated hotel after a cold night in a grassland yurt the day before! Very good buffet for dinner and breakfast.

Very clean and modern

Stayed during the Dragon Boat Festival. It is convenient to go to Xiangshawan from Baotou. The hotel is in a prime location, with complete surrounding facilities and warm and thoughtful service. The room overlooks Alding Square, and the drone show coincides with it, adding joy to the festival.

The Marriott Hotel has an elegant environment, a reasonable and comfortable room layout, and considerate service. They also upgraded our room type. Thank you very much! I booked an executive room for 5 days. Ctrip said it included a mini bar. On the first day, the refrigerator was empty. I asked the customer service, but they hesitated and didn't want to give me any. After I asked them again and again, they gave me three bottles of drinks! It was too perfunctory! (Compared to the mini bar at Four Seasons in Guangzhou, which was placed at the end)! I bought beer and drinks myself, but the refrigerator didn't cool. I asked the customer service to negotiate to change the refrigerator. The customer service was very impatient and told me that all refrigerators in the hotel were like this! Shampoo and shower gel are all in large bottles, while other 5-star hotels are in small disposable bottles! The glass is too dirty. It's understandable that it's dirty outside, but there's also a layer of dust inside the room! The hotel has poor sound insulation. I can hear the content clearly when the next room is making a phone call. Some rooms are still noisy after 12 o'clock in the middle of the night. I saw other comments about insincere solutions, so I endured it and didn't contact the customer service. I felt it was useless to contact them!

The hotel has a good value for money, the rooms are clean, the facilities and equipment are complete and new, it is convenient around the city, and mineral water, paper towels and other supplies are replenished a lot every day. The breakfast is clean and tastes good, and it also has local characteristics.
