This well kept, older property is in the heart of Bar Harbor, a short walk from everything. The included breakfast is excellent, the property is well maintained with beautiful landscape and friendly staff.

We loved our stay here! The location was great. The annex room was perfect for our budget leaving room to spend money on other fun activities in the area. The room was spotless and they had an excellent breakfast selection. The staff was so friendly and our kiddo’s whole trip was made by being given a stuffed animal at check in, a prize at bingo, and a cookie at departure. I would definitely recommend to anyone as this is a place that goes the extra mile.

Our stay was perfect! Aside from driving to Acadia, we didn't need to move our car while in town. It was a ten minute walk to the end of the harbor. Absolutely perfect location! The rooms were clean and provided everything we needed. Breakfast exceeded our expectations! Eggs, sausage, muffins and croissants. Yogurt with granola, grab and go fruit and fresh blueberries, strawberries and grapes. The little area for breakfast is a separate building and it remains open all day and evening for tables to use for family games on rainy days. You can also buy park passes right at check in! Our family was so happy to stay here and we will 100% be back

What a great experience at the Bar harbor villager. It looks like a typical motel but was so much better than I expected. Walking distance to everything. Rented e-bikes right across the street and did carriage trails, which was amazing. The hotel was clean and the front desk service was great. Can get cleaned room or ask for what you need. Breakfast was available and there were hot choices and a variety of other options. Great trip!

I can’t say enough positive things. We were a multi generational family. Three generations of three families. This was perfect for us. Great parking able to walk around town without moving our car. Close to the park entrance with your car.Clean updated rooms. Friendly staff from Amya who had entertainment for the kids. They also loved the pool and her delivery of ice pop. The front desk staff was friendly at check in and departure. Richard at breakfast was friendly and kept the breakfast fully stocked. There was a nice array of food at breakfast. Certainly all that we needed. The area was open for juice and to use the microwave until 9 PM. There are refrigerators in the rooms. We had a small glitch before we arrived and the general manager was made aware. She was sure to check in with me and was very professional. When we return to BH with our family this is where we will stay.
