Choosing this hotel was absolutely the right decision! The scenery is picturesque; waking up to views of mountains and rivers instantly lifted my spirits. The front desk staff were all so nice, they even upgraded our room and arranged transportation for us to nearby restaurants. The hotel offers delicious afternoon tea and a lovely 'goodnight dessert' every day. While sitting in the lobby, the staff would proactively offer drinks – whether it was coffee, tea, or juice, everything was great. I honestly didn't want to leave the hotel! The swimming pool is also very clean. I'll definitely stay here again next time I visit Yangshuo!

Traveling with my family, young and old, during the May Day holiday, the room view was absolutely incredible! We could just lie on the sofa by the window and enjoy the stunning terraced fields – so comfortable and relaxing. The B&B is right next to the 'Thousand-Layer Terraces,' about a 15-20 minute walk away. Alternatively, the owner can drop you off at the cable car station to take the cable car up to 'Jinfoding' (Golden Buddha Peak), which the room directly faces. It made for a truly amazing experience. Dining at the B&B was also super convenient. The ingredients were fresh, and the flavors were authentic. A glass of their homemade rice wine really awakens your taste buds and lifts your spirits! 😁

A wonderful family hotel with spacious rooms, a pool and a very peaceful atmosphere. We stayed here as a family with children and really enjoyed our time. In Yangshuo, many hotels have beautiful mountain views, but this hotel stands out because it is not only scenic, but also very quiet, peaceful and comfortable inside. For us, this was a huge advantage. This is a warm family-style hotel where you feel that the owners truly care about every guest. The hostess was always nearby and personally paid attention to the quality of service. The staff were very friendly, polite and always ready to help. Our room was very spacious, clean and comfortable. Housekeeping was done on time, and everything felt well maintained. For this level of room, the price was very reasonable, which makes the hotel a very good value for money. Another big plus is the swimming pool. For a family trip, especially with children, having a pool at the hotel is a real advantage compared with many other hotels in the area. One of the nicest details was the afternoon tea with sweets — it made the stay feel even more welcoming and personal. The atmosphere of the hotel is calm and relaxing, which is exactly what you need in the mountains. The garden, the views, the fresh air and the peaceful environment helped us rest properly. The night before, we stayed in another hotel where it was noisy and uncomfortable because of construction nearby, so here we especially appreciated the silence, cleanliness and comfort. We finally had a proper rest. This hotel is a great choice for families, for people travelling with children, and for anyone who wants a quiet and cozy place surrounded by beautiful mountain scenery. We left with very warm impressions and would be happy to come back again. Highly recommended. В Яншо, как мы поняли, у многих отелей есть красивые виды на горы, но большое преимущество именно этого отеля в том, что здесь не только красиво, но ещё и очень тихо, спокойно и комфортно внутри. Для нас это было огромным плюсом. Это уютный семейный отель, где чувствуется настоящая забота о гостях. Хозяйка всегда была рядом и лично контролировала качество обслуживания. Персонал очень доброжелательный, вежливый, всегда старался помочь и сделать проживание максимально комфортным. Номер был очень просторный, чистый и удобный. Уборка проводилась вовремя, всё было аккуратно и приятно. Для такого уровня номера цена, на наш взгляд, очень недорогая, поэтому соотношение цены и качества здесь отличное. Отдельный большой плюс — наличие бассейна. Для семейной поездки, особенно с детьми, это действительно важное преимущество по сравнению со многими другими отелями в этом районе. Также нам очень понравились приятные детали: послеобеденный чай со сладостями, зелёный двор, красивые виды, свежий воздух и общая спокойная атмосфера. В горах именно такой отдых особенно ценен — здесь можно по-настоящему расслабиться и восстановиться. Ночь до этого мы провели в другом отеле, где рядом шла стройка, было шумно и душно. Поэтому здесь мы особенно оценили тишину, чистоту и комфорт. Мы наконец-то хорошо отдохнули. Отель отлично подойдёт для семей с детьми и для тех, кто ищет не шумное место, а спокойный, уютный отдых среди красивой природы. У нас остались очень тёплые впечатления, с удовольствием вернулись бы снова. Очень рекомендуем.

Choosing Dufuyayuan near the 20-yuan RMB scenic spot was truly an unexpected delight this time. This century-old house, converted into a guesthouse, perfectly captures an amazing ambiance. The ancient architecture combined with the greenery in the courtyard makes every spot picture-perfect. The guesthouse's overall cleanliness was impeccable. The bedding in the rooms was dry and soft, the bathrooms had no unpleasant odors, and even the corners were spotless. During our stay, the owner's service was exceptionally thoughtful; they proactively sent travel routes and local sightseeing guides before our arrival, and even provided helpful tips for purchasing tickets for the Yulong River bamboo raft. The guesthouse environment is serene, far from the noise of main road traffic. During the day, you can relax and cool off in the courtyard, and in the evening, you can enjoy distant views of the mountains and rivers. You can pre-order local farm-to-table dishes for all three meals; the ingredients are fresh and authentic, and the flavors are light and not greasy. The location is exceptionally convenient. You can walk directly to the banks of the Yulong River, avoiding the need to rush early in the morning. The overall accommodation experience far exceeded our expectations. It's an excellent base for family trips to Yangshuo, and we would definitely stay here again on our next visit to Yangshuo. I wholeheartedly recommend it to all travelers.

The hotel has a great atmosphere, and the rooms are very clean. The front desk staff are really friendly, and the breakfast is excellent. West Street is right downstairs, which makes shopping super convenient. When you're tired from exploring, you can just head straight back to the hotel and relax. The room facilities are fantastic and very complete.

Sugar House was one of the highlights of our trip to China. From the moment we arrived, we knew we had chosen somewhere special. The hotel is beautifully designed, blending contemporary luxury with its historic surroundings in a way that feels both unique and peaceful. Our room was spacious, stylish and extremely comfortable, with stunning views over the karst landscape. It was the perfect place to unwind after a day exploring Yangshuo. The food was outstanding throughout our stay. Breakfast offered a great selection of both Chinese and Western options, and every meal we had at the hotel restaurant was beautifully prepared using excellent local ingredients. Everything was consistently excellent and a real highlight of our stay. What really elevated our experience, however, was the exceptional service. Every member of staff was warm, welcoming and genuinely eager to help. They assisted us in arranging transport and offered excellent recommendations for exploring the surrounding area, making everything effortless. The location was perfect for us—peaceful and secluded, yet within easy reach of Yangshuo’s incredible scenery. We spent the day rafting on the Yulong River, visiting Fuli Bridge, Moon Hill and Xingping, before returning to relax by the beautiful riverside pool each evening. It was the ideal balance of adventure and tranquillity. Sugar House is much more than a luxury hotel; it is a destination in its own right. We left wishing we had booked an extra night and would not hesitate to return. It is a truly exceptional place that we will remember for a very long time.

This hotel was such a pleasure to stay at, everything was so we'll taken care of, no request was too much, the staff went above and beyond for me especially Icey and Kayson, a special Thank you to you. The scenery from the restaurant at the first floor is legendary, it's almost like your sitting in the center of Guilins lap and of course the hospitality is first class. We really enjoyed our stay at Tui Blue. It’s out of the hustle and bustle of West street, but only a 12yen didi there. The views are stunning, including of the romance park across the street. Front desk staff were so kind. Breakfast every morning had both Chinese and western options, including fresh noodles being made to order. This hotel takes great pride in their cleanliness and design. Room was amazing. Great views. Great air conditioning. Very comfortable bed. Great water pressure from the shower. Free mini fridge for the first round of drinks, and tea and coffee in the room. Our few things where we would recommend improvements to the hotel: - There was no working AC in the gym. - Gym should have some lighter weights too. - Gym needs a mirror. - Pool towels should be available by the pool. (Unsure if they normally are.. we went out in the rain so possibly during sun they have these readily available). - some small things need to be maintained. (Gym wall leak with mold present, painting around windows peeling off, outdoor plant maintenance, pool tidy of chairs and ensure pool inflatables are actually blown up.These small things aren’t really noticed by everybody, however as a travel agent myself it is what sets luxury hotels apart from others). Overall a really great stay. Would definitely stay again.

This stay didn't quite live up to the Shangri-La brand standard. When I returned to the hotel, my room door wouldn't open. The front desk confirmed my key card was working, and a staff member accompanied me upstairs, only to discover a faulty door lock. The entire process took nearly an hour. On the positive side, the duty manager later intervened, arranged for me to relax in the executive lounge, and moved me to a different room, all while being very apologetic and professional. However, I believe the hotel's emergency response could be improved. If the door lock couldn't be fixed quickly, why wasn't a room change offered sooner, instead of making me wait for almost an hour? Additionally, there were noticeable signs of repair or tampering around the faulty door lock, which made me wonder if similar issues had occurred before. I hope the hotel thoroughly inspects all relevant rooms, rather than just fixing the immediate problem. After moving rooms, I also found an insect, possibly a rove beetle, on the pillow. I was too tired to report it at the time. Furthermore, the shower area only had a handheld showerhead and no overhead one. For this price point and brand, the amenities felt a bit lacking. While the duty manager's service was commendable, there's still room for improvement in terms of facility maintenance, emergency response efficiency, room cleanliness, and some of the hardware provisions.

I came here with my friends during the summer holiday, specifically for their restaurant which is on the must-try list. While waiting for a table, we found out they also have guest rooms. Hotel guests get a 10% discount and priority seating, so after seeing the rooms, we decisively booked one. Honestly, both their restaurant and guest rooms are excellent. The summer prices were also very reasonable, and the staff were all very polite and enthusiastic. It was our first time in Yangshuo, and they even recommended some fun attractions. The hotel can also book tickets for various scenic spots, so it felt like we didn't really need to plan our route much as they had everything sorted for us. I'll definitely choose this hotel again when I bring my family next time. It's very close to the riverside and West Street, both within walking distance. The main thing is, their restaurant is truly amazing! Don't miss it if you come to Yangshuo!
