Nanjing Hotels with Bars

A very beautiful hotel with the structure in wood of an old tulou and a fishpond in the center of the courtyard. It was very peaceful. You really have the feeling of living in a tulou and you have a little balcony with a splendid view of the courtyard and the roof. You are awaken by the sounds of the birds in the morning, it is really a unique experience. The only failings : the breakfast was a bit lacking + it can be weird for some people that the bathroom and the bedroom are not on the same floor. They should also add a curtain to the window near the bed.

As it wasn't a busy time and we were staying for a whole week, on check they upgraded us to the Wooden Loft Family Room, which was quite nice. The room was comfortable with big windows and a nice view across the stream to the forest. It was great to have a washing machine and the washing machine had a dryer function as well so we could still dry our clothes when it was cloudy and cool. The smart toilet was a bit disappointing as the controller wasn't very responsive and the flush was very weak. The tub was nice though the water was not quite hot enough to make it comfortable. Most of all we enjoyed the courtyard area and the breakfast/restaurant area, especially the tea room. They are really well designed and organized and provide a nice space to relax and read and write. The breakfast was quite nice, they provide a serving size based on the number of people, though it was often not enough for us and we normally asked for another serving. They also brought a fruit and yogurt platter to the room in evenings which we also enjoyed. The location is convenient to walk down to the Yuchanglou Tulou in Xiabancun, though part of the way will be on the main road which can be busy with traffic. To get to other areas such as Tianluokeng and Taxiacun it is also possible to walk, though again sometimes you have to walk on the main road as there is no walking path or small side road. There is a tourist bus service that goes between the scenic spots and you can even flag them down in between though you are supposed to have purchased a transportation ticket first and that is not striaghtforward to get if you didn't get it in advance. So, most guests come with their own car or rent one. If arriving by train, while trip.com shows the Yongding and Longshan railway stations as the closest, actually the quickest and most convenient station is the one at Nanjing. Also, because the hotel is within the scenic area you do need to purchase tickets to enter, either online tickets or paper tickets at the gate.

We stayed in Floral Luxury.1949 Guesthouse for 1 night. We booked Mufan room located on the ground floor as i am travelling with my elderly mom and carrying heavy luggage bags. The guesthouse butler will contact you the night before your arrival to add them to Wechat for easy communication. They will share their hotel location and offer pick-up service at the train station if required. Access to Yunshuiyao town is RMB90 perpax and free for those aged above 65 years old. Yunshuiyao is a scenic town area with 3 km long (2 - 3 hours walk). We hired a chinese speaking guide to accompany us to explain the history of Huaiyan building (square tulou), Hegui building (round tulou), and the town area. It cost RMB100. The guesthouse is located inside Yunshuiyao town, behind the shop houses, in-between waterwheel and 2 trees (named as husband and wife) aged above 670 years old. When we reached there at 2.30 pm, it was raining. The hotel staff immediately came out with an umbrella to pick us up and assist with the luggage. The check-in is fast, and the access to the room is by password, which they will share in Wechat. Checkout is also very easy. The hotel offered free fruits twice a day, afternoon and evening. The basic bathroom essentials are complete, and they also provide bathrobes. The bed and pillows are very comfortable for a good night sleep. Luckily the aircond can change to warm mode as it was very cold on raining day. There's a mini kids playground for children's. The staff were friendly and helpful. The breakfast set come with porridge and soya drink. Can topup if needed more. The in-house restaurant provides lunch & dinner with a la carte chinese foods menu. The sky brightens at 5 am, while the sun rises high at 6.45am. If you are able to wake up early, this is the best time for you to revisit the town and tulou surrounding area for nice photos and cool breeze as only local people around. There's a roadside stall selling super long youtiao (equal to size of 2 youtiao) located near the stone bridge not far from guesthouse. The whole Yunshuiyao town is covered with natural peebles pathway. Wear suitable shoes as it will be very slippery during the rainy day.

Taxia Village is located in the Tulou Scenic Area. To enter, you need to buy a ticket first. The room is clean, spacious and bright, and the intelligent facilities enhance the living experience. The store manager is very enthusiastic and the homemade tea he gives is very delicious. The hotel's restaurant tastes good. The most important thing is that the kitchen is clean and hygienic, which is better than other farmhouse hotels in the surrounding area. It was a wise choice to choose to stay at Taxia Village B&B this time. The village has beautiful mountains and clear waters, a good original ecological atmosphere, and is not over-developed. Moreover, the earth buildings here are very classic. The hotel is a ten-minute drive from these buildings. Personally, I think it is enough to come here to the Nanjing Tulou Scenic Area.

We had a nice stay here and would highly recommend it. The rooms were clean, spacious and newly renovated. The bathroom was super clean, the shower was strong and water was hot. The bed was very comfortable and the owner and his wife were very friendly. Breakfast was tasty traditional Congi with pickled veg, eggs, salty nuts and steamed buns. The location was amazing, it’s right on the river so all your hear is the lovely river! It’s right on the path that leads you to all the major sights in the Yunshuiyao Scenic Area and close and nice walk to each Tulou from here with gorgeous Banyan trees!!! The balcony was really nice to sit and enjoy dinner with incredible views of the river and surrounding Tulous. We had delicious lunch and dinner here. Would recommend pre-booking a driver, as transportation to the train from here is a little tricky if you are not self-driving. Very good price too! Would recommend this gem!

真的很有必要住進水雲遙裏面，一早一晚避開人潮，可以更好的欣賞土樓風貌，這個民宿位置很好，就在幾個景點的中間，去哪裡都很方便，房間非常乾淨，樓下還有餐廳和咖啡廳可以發發呆，還有小點心茶點，我們訂了兩間，其中一間有個小廳，感覺還是要訂帶小廳的好，小房間略顯擠，不太好涼衣服，不過天氣好的話，不介意的話，可以涼到外面他們涼被子的那邊棚裏，一家老小一起經營的民宿，媽媽負責廚房，煮的菜超級好吃，兩夫妻負責雜務招待客人，另一位媽媽爸爸負責收拾還做了一些話梅陳皮等小吃，味道做得也不錯，一家子一起勤勤懇懇經營，也樂也融融，突然好生羨慕，臨走還送了我們一些伴手禮，非常感謝！唯一不足可以改進的就是，淋浴間可以做個門，這樣水就不會外濺

The staff is hospitable and caring like family. They not only contacted me in advance to confirm the itinerary, but also personally greeted me at the intersection when I arrived, helped with my luggage, and made me feel full of care. After check-in, whether it is about local food recommendations or play guides, they can give detailed and practical suggestions, so that I, a foreign tourist, can easily avoid ”thunder” and enjoy the fun of traveling. The public area of the homestay is also very good. There is a beautiful courtyard with various flowers and green plants. Sitting in the yard in the morning, breathing the fresh air, listening to the birds' songs, as if you are in a paradise. There is also a cafe, with books and musical instruments. You can read books here in your spare time, or chat with other guests and share the stories of the journey. This atmosphere is really intoxicating. It is especially worth mentioning that there is a children's amusement park. Especially suitable for family trips, many children have a great time together, highly recommended

The room is clean and tidy, and there is free breakfast. It is very pet-friendly. The room is in the center of the scenic area, very close to Huaiyuan Tower and Hegui Tower. There are a lot of food nearby. The boss will call in advance to inform you about entering the scenic area and parking. It was already ten o'clock in the evening when we arrived. The boss guy would go to the parking lot to help with luggage. The room was very stylish, the mattress was super soft, the breakfast was quite rich, and there was a cute Labrador, which is very suitable for families. Travel and self drive with pets.

It was an impromptu trip to see the earth buildings. I found Nanyuan Inn on Ctrip. I was unexpectedly surprised. It turned out to be a renovated earth building with unique design. It is in a village that has not yet been developed for tourism. It is surrounded by mountains and rivers and has few people. , suitable for daze. The lady at the inn is super enthusiastic and feeds us all kinds of dried fruits and peanuts, and the meals are all delicious.

The location of the inn is excellent. It is old (100 years old) and is suitable for those who want to experience staying in an earth building (there is a separate bathroom in this earth building). The boss was very enthusiastic and drove to the gate of the scenic spot to greet us personally, making him feel like he was staying at home. It’s just that the hygiene of the bedding needs to be improved!
