The room was spacious and airy, with panoramic floor-to-ceiling windows offering a superb view. In the evening, you can overlook the city's residential areas and the distant airport, creating a wonderful ambiance. The room decor is modern and minimalist, with luxurious flooring, soft and skin-friendly bedding, and excellent soundproofing. After a busy day, you can get a peaceful night's sleep. The bathroom amenities are meticulously chosen, featuring a marble countertop, a separate shower, stable and abundant water pressure, and high-quality toiletries for a comfortable washing experience. The mini-bar setup was a pleasant surprise, with a retro kettle and a mini-fridge stocked with drinks and ice glasses. The attention to detail is remarkable, giving it a very homey feel, so even a long stay wouldn't feel monotonous. The buffet breakfast offers both local Laotian flavors and Western simple meals. The taste is authentic, the dishes are exquisitely presented, and you can freely combine items as needed to start your morning full of energy. The hotel's security management is rigorous, with standardized entry and exit procedures. During a business trip to Vientiane, a sense of security in accommodation is particularly important, and I felt completely at ease during my stay. The location is super convenient, close to everything downtown. The ground floor is a coffee shop, and the floors above are the guesthouse. For the price, which includes breakfast, it's an absolute bargain! It's clean, tidy, and cool. And for breakfast, as pictured, you even get to choose one of three options!

This hotel, converted from a former French colonial governor's residence, is exquisite and truly captures a Southeast Asian vibe. It attracts many European tourists. It's very quiet, and the European-style service makes for a truly comfortable and pleasant stay. Highly recommended.

Clean and good quality hotel. On the downside, the air conditioning let a large puddle of water inside when it started to rain outside. At breakfast, where we arrived half an hour before it was due to end, the hot food had run out. The picture shows all the protein I could find in the thermal bath. There wasn't even an omelet or eggs available in the open kitchen.

Great breakfast. The staff are lovely, especially the female morning manager. No cigarette smell in the room. Housekeeping provides good service, and there's a mini-mart for shopping. We stay here often; every time we get a chance, we come back. The place is beautiful, and there are many foreigners.

The hotel's location is decent, with a Big C supermarket nearby, which is convenient for dining and shopping. However, the breakfast is very mediocre, not living up to its Ctrip 5-diamond rating or its self-proclaimed 4-star Great Wall brand. I'm not sure how hotels outside of China can be rated by domestic Chinese star standards; it clearly seems like a self-awarded brand. There was a power outage in my room in the middle of the night. After dawn at 6 AM, I realized only my room had no power while other areas did. The phone was broken, so I had to walk to the front desk to request a repair. By 8 AM, no one had come to fix it, and the response I received was that the maintenance staff hadn't woken up yet. The room had a strong smell, clearly from long-term smoking. It improved slightly after turning on the air conditioning, but it still felt unpleasant. The hotel's hardware could be on par with a 4-star domestic Chinese hotel, but it's poorly maintained, and the staff's service is subpar, a far cry from the 'Dream South' service slogan. I will definitely not choose this hotel again, nor any other hotel under the 'Dream South' brand.

This hotel is decent. It's a bit far from the night market, but only a 10-15 minute walk to Independence Gate. The service, however, was quite poor. Trip.com guaranteed a late checkout, and I even confirmed it with the front desk beforehand. Yet, when I went to check out, they still insisted on charging me an additional $30. Very disappointing.
