I recently had the pleasure of staying at the View Point Anh Quan Hotel in Cat Ba, and I must say it was a delightful experience. The hotel is situated in a quiet area, which provided a peaceful retreat after a day of exploring the beautiful surroundings. The location is perfect, just a short walk from the pier and close to Cat Co beach, making it convenient for sightseeing and enjoying the local attractions.
The room I stayed in was spacious and clean, with stunning views from both my balcony and the rooftop cafe. Waking up to such breathtaking scenery was truly a highlight of my trip. The staff at the hotel were exceptional; they were friendly, attentive, and went out of their way to ensure that my stay was comfortable. They helped arrange transportation from Hanoi to Cat Ba and even organized a fantastic day trip to Ha Long Bay for me.
Breakfast at the hotel was enjoyable with a variety of options available, including made-to-order eggs that were delicious. The overall atmosphere of the hotel felt welcoming and homely, which made my stay even more enjoyable. GGuest UserI got healed by beautiful and marvelous nature. So originally I planned to stay just two days but couldn't help but expanding two more days. Every day I got returned with being tired but could be refreshed fully enough in the Cat Ba Green hotel. Now I really wish I could come back in the near future and if then I would like to stay again here without hesitation.

PPascal BoujéBasically beautiful Hotel and nice location. 3 buildings are connected with bridges and everywhere instagrammable spots. It can be confusing to find at the beginning the right restaurant or event at the 3 beaches or restaurants. The service in the restaurant in cat 2 17th Etage need to improve. First time i was sitting outside at the balcony. the staff saw me but nobody served me.
Another day i went at the same restaurant first at the reception and told them i wanna order. I got an tablet with the menu and thats it. Me and another tablet were looking around to get service but again no one came after 12 min i left the restaurant and had dinner in the city.
The pool bars are closed in 2 buildings and at building no. 2 there are only beer water and some lemon juice available. To get an coconut i had to go up to the 17th floor.

SShardaleI needed a place to stay when the ferries closed due to a typhoon and this was a neat spot to find on short notice. The comment I am making is based on the amount of money being paid for Vietnamese standards so the room has everything you need and the bed is comfortable, however I felt the blanket was quite thin. The menu for food was only in Vietnamese. There are snacks and drinks in the room that are cheap, but I was hesitant on the bottled water when I had seen it was opened already and I wondered if it was just refilled instead of being a new bottle? The reception staff were very kind, helpful and lovely to speak with. The breakfast was small in variety and the English Breakfast I got was what I feel a way to save costs by giving ham instead of bacon? Again only due to the price being paid did I expect something of better quality in some regards. However I am grateful for a place to stay when I was stuck. There are restaurants nearby, a very good western bar with good food and lovely local vietnamese seafood spots. It is in walking distance to the beach.

DDaniela888Nicely decorated room and very comfortable and funcional. The location is not great, it is bit far from the center and even more from the beaches.
Staff is nice and helpful. The breakfast has some options but the quality is not the best. There is a rooftop bar and restaurant but it is not clear what are the open hours. We tried to get there in the afternoon and nobody was there.

BBec TryonThe hotel was very nice. Great location and view (sunset from the rooftop bar is fantastic). If it wasn't for the construction in front of the hotel, this hotel would be the bees knees. It is close to our tour operator and mini markets. The staff so helpful and informative. Jong, one of the managers, organised a taxi for us to take us from our tour in the harbour to our speedboat to take us to Ha Long City. The speedboat driver organised the taxi driver to take us to our hotel in Ha Long City. It was well organised for us at half the price that we paid to get to Cat Ba Island. We were taken advantage of in the beginning of the Cat Ba Island adventure as unknowledgeable tourists, but we were treated so well on our departure trip from Cat Ba Island thanks to Jong.
