Sonder Los Arcos

This is the best apartment rental in Barcelona! Sonder staff are the best and attend to you quickly and easily to answer any question or query. I can’t recommend this place more highly! It was a fantastic stay and I will be back! Thanks to all the Sonder staff for being such great hosts and amazing people! The apartment also - top notch and perfect in every way!

It was great and the team was very professional. I booked thinking Sonder was an actual hotel (it’s not), but it felt like one—this also explained why they were so insistent in having me check-in and providing my documents in advance. It is a great location right by the Plaza and Rambla. The place was well stocked. The A/C worked perfectly, and the water jug in the hallway was a godsend (ice water; even though you can drink tap water, I hope…). The only thing is that the entrance has stairs with a steep ramp and elevator small; if you bring family with carriers and carts, or you rely on ramps, or have a lot of luggage, the entrance and exit can be cumbersome. If you are a solo traveler or couple, the place is perfect. Quick to get in, quick to get out, close to the action and some nice places to eat, party and visit.

The apartment was perfect and spacious. It was clean and tidy. The staff was helpful and made our stay so much better. Thanks to the great staff especially to Riccardo and Facundo. It was a great experience, will recommend Sonder to everyone.

Good location. Arrived very late but staff were very kind and accommodating. Lovely room, big and comfy bed, clean and spacious bathroom, we had a few issues with the remote unlocking through the phone, but staff were very responsive and helpful!

I really like staying at Sonder because it provides free luggage storage, rooms have always been nice and clean, etc. You can always contact the team online via the app, and also-at this location-in-person at the neighboring hotel. The team is super friendly and willing to help with any needs. They can even book you a tour. The Los Arcos location is right next to Placa Reial, which is a great spot, but can also get a little loud at night. If you want to sleep, it's a good idea to use the earplugs provided. Also, the shower door is only half so the water kept leaking out and I had to use a bunch of towels to prevent flooding. I had no other issues.

My stay at this sonder was great. The rooms were very modern, clean, bathrooms in great condition, bed extremely comfortable and overall operations of coming / leaving great. That said, the one big downfall of this location is the noise. The windows don’t do enough noise cancelling, therefore you hear the crowds in the evening. Furthermore, the walls of the hotel are very thin. You can easily ear conversations other guests are having or any noise they are making. Sonder does provide earplugs, so don’t skip them!

There was a flood on our first night. We were woken up during the night with flooding and everyone had to leave. We then sat in a lobby of a sister hotel for 2 hours in the middle of the night. They finally got us a room at a hotel very far away. This was an issue because we booked a hotel in the area all of our things were in. They felt they upgraded us so that we should just be happy. But we didn't book their sister hotel for a reason. We had to spend so much more time and money walking back and forth from the new hotel to our plans. In addition, our clothes and shoes were wrecked by the flood. I realize the hotel didn't do this on purpose, but it's part of running a business: I paid a premium to stay where I booked, I could have paid less to be in a different area. We also were completely exhausted after no sleep that night. Nothing was offered OH and we had to pay for our own taxi to the new hotel. We had to ASK for compensation. What did they give us! The night we were not in the room due to floods. That's it. I asked for compensation due to the room being in a bad location and our clothes/shoes being wrecked. They told me "sorry we gave you one night free". Ahem we didn't have a room so you better have given us that night free!
