Location was great - near the train station. The room was clean and the staff were very helpful. In terms of aesthetics, the accommodation gives off movie vibes.

Everything was great, only one employee at the reception wasn't very friendly, I didn't feel comfortable. The evening employee from Honduras was super friendly and helpful, I can recommend the location and would like to come there. In my opinion the best hostel in Barcelona.

The hotel is in a convenient location. It's a short walk to the Sagrada Familia. Transportation is also very convenient nearby. The room is cozy and great for making new friends Paid breakfast is provided. The price is not expensive. You can enjoy breakfast if the time is right.

It was close to Sagrada Familia, so it was easy to go sightseeing. The staff kindly taught us various things during check-in.

It was a very clean and nice hostel. Access to the subway station is also very good. I saw a word of mouth that the entrance is difficult to understand, so I will post a picture of the entrance. The place marked with a circle is the entrance. There is a signboard so you can understand.

Fabulous welcome on arrival, helpful advice about the city, free tours available. Rooms were beautifully presented, clean, fresh, towels and slippers for each of us. We stayed as a family of four, myself and my husband and two daughters of 26 and 21, we all loved it! Really well laid out, lots of bathroom amenities, really well decorated, very clean! Two lounges with an abundance of board games, two guitars, appreciated by my husband and I’d have certainly appreciated the board games when my girls were younger. A very chill, calm place to be, well equipped kitchen area and breakfast available to help yourself for €4 each, you can store anything you like in the fridge. Left luggage is an option if you don’t want to carry your bags round the city as well. Lovely touch on leaving, we were given a little gift box with local chocolates inside as a thank you for staying, please also take a ride in the 100 year old lift! Well situated accommodation in the heart of the city and great tips for eating out in the evenings in local restaurants, 10/10 for our stay

Primavera Hostal is a real gem in the heart of Barcelona. DI have noticed thet accomodation costs have recently soared in this increasingly expensive city but Primavera has managed to keep its costs to a sensible level for the beautiful, artful and homely surroundings that they have created. Our room (with en-suite) was clean, albeit not luxurious, but the highlight of this hostal is the decor of the public spaces which is really first class and puts you at home as soon as you walk in the front door. On top of this, the staff are very helpful and friendly...a real home from home!

I stayed here for a week with my 2 (18 year old) best friends. The staff we so lovely and accommodating, the hostel is so clean and looks gorgeous. Only slight con was no air con in the room so it did get very hot but surprisingly the room was quiet even though the hostel is next to a main road. It’s a long walk from the beach but a walkable distance from most of the main attractions, clubs, bars and places to eat. Plus, there is also a bus stop right outside. They let us use all the facilities and leave our luggage until 4am the following day after checkout which was amazing! Would defo recommend!

My friend and I stayed here for 4 days, we booked a private room with shared bathrooms. Very cozy hostel with nice staff, the only problem which is kind serious was that there was no air conditioner!!! We got two fans when we asked but it was 26 degrees at night still.woke up in my own sweat.overall nice hostel, but don’t book when it’s so hot at night.

The best location for first visit of Barcelona. Located within 1 km to Sagrada de Familia and Gaudy Houses. The atmosphere and design of hostel is giving you an experience of classic Spanish houses. Staff is very friendly and helpful

The hostel offers a bag storage service which I used while I was exploring Barcelona. They were very welcoming and although I was only storing bags, they made me welcome and gave me WiFi access and access to coffee and water. The building itself is beautiful inside and rates are reasonable. I would definitely stay here.

I finally stayed at this hostel after waiting two years (Covid) to use our credit. I had a private room with a private bathroom. Overall, I had a good stay and I liked the aesthetic/ decor but there are definitely things that could use improvement. 1. My room smelled like a sewer. When i finally complained, the manager cane into my bathroom/shower with his shoes on, poured some draino down the shower drain and said, "we have to run hot water in 30 minutes." Which meant I had to run hot water as I never saw him again. He told me the smell was due to the age of the building but I have stayed in nothing but old buildings in tve three weeks I have been in Spain and not one smelled like this. 2. The kitchen is really nice except it seemed to be as much for the staff as for the guests. One staff member cooked elaborate meals first thing in the morning every day. Not only am I vegan but I don't think most people want to smell frying chicken as they eat breakfast. 3. Most of the front desk staff were great but some had such an attitude. I have noticed that if anyone says anything critical about the hostel, the policy is to say: "thank you and we hope to see you again" rather than addressing anything which is really bad form.

Good attention from the hosts and also a very good location, blocks from the Sagrada Familia. We requested a room with a private bathroom and honestly everything was very good, nothing surprising about a hotel. All the needs we had were well managed by the hosts. The kitchen with tea, coffee and water available all day.
