Catalonia Magdalenes

We were put in a small windowless room on the ground floor, even though we'd booked a room with windows. But that wasn't the main problem. The entire ground floor was heavily smoked, and there was smoke even in the room. When we asked to change rooms, the arrogant young receptionist refused, citing the lack of rooms. No amount of persuasion worked, even the fact that my wife is allergic to smoke! I checked that same evening, and the hotel had rooms available! Why did the receptionist dislike us so much? The next day, we were moved to a different room, matching the one we'd booked, but the experience was completely ruined!

The hotel is beautifully decorated. The staff is very friendly, and the rooftop terrace is very cozy. The rooms were always cleaned very early, which was great if you arrived at the hotel early in the afternoon. The stay there was very comfortable and relaxing. Everything was wonderful. The hotel is in a great location, and it is very convenient to go to the city center attractions. The room is not bad, and the hotel service is also OK. When I entered the room, I found that it was a king-size bed room. I called and immediately changed it to a twin bed room, which was not bad. Although the hotel atrium is small, it has a lot of taste and design. If you have time, it is recommended to go to the rooftop swimming pool on the 6th floor to feel the sunset, and don't forget to get welcome champagne from the bar!
