Had a short visit to Barcelona and the Hampton it was the perfect choice for us, and very good value for money comparing what we paid and what we got.
Hotel - The hotel is modern and is well decorated. Room has everything you need with a TV, iron, fridge etc. The room was clean and was bright. It was super hot in Barcelona and AC took a while to cool the room down, but eventually it cooled nicely - but I did find the lobby to always be hot.
Location - I liked the location as it's half way between the city centre and the airport. It's also less than five minutes from the metro and commuter rail stations meaning quick and easy access to the airport and city centre by public transport. There are buses too, but I didn't use them so can't comment. It's also right next to a big shopping mall with the usual stores, chain restaurants, supermarket. However, some might prefer closer to the centre so it depends on the person.
Breakfast - It was a decent choice. Plenty of seats as the dining room is big.
Overall, I was very happy with the stay and would use this hotel again.

This is the most value-for-money hotel I've stayed at in Barcelona. It's conveniently located near the city center and a transportation hub. The rooms are spacious, breakfast is plentiful, and the hotel feels relatively new.

Proximity to metro station L1 Europa | Fira. Compact room size - almost no space left for desk. Standard breakfast - could have Spanish tortillas.

First off, this hotel doesn't have a luggage scale, which was really disappointing. The lobby on the first floor always smells like a sewer. The air conditioning in the room constantly blew right onto the bed, making it very uncomfortable to sleep! And breakfast was terrible! They claimed it started at 7:00 AM, but the staff was late and it didn't begin until 7:30 AM. Overall, very disappointed.
