The balcony was superb! Would have appreciated if they have more tissues! Very convenient location with lots of shops and restaurants around, even 24hr supermarkets!

Location is excellent. Just next to Zara and other shops. Rooms face the street is better as some face the back and open the window would see nothing but a wall very close.

Don’t choose rooms facing street and do select rooms facing swimming pool.

A very old hotel, most of the rooms have interior windows, and the accommodation comfort is very poor. It is the worst hotel I have ever stayed in in Spain.

The room is too small, there is not even a sofa, the bathroom is also very small, and the fat shower room can't turn around

Old hotel, good location

I have stayed in this hotel for the third time. The transportation is convenient and there are many choices for breakfast. The only bad thing is that I use blankets as quilts. I don't like it very much.

Great location, clean and good service. That is about it. I’m 192 cm high and I could baerly stand up in the hotel room. Ceeling hight is about 195 cm. Window out to a port, no view and shower bad. No hair conditioner and bed was not soft at all. I have never been to a four star hotel that should not even get a one star. Not recomendet.

Unreal experience I fully recommend the 7th floor.private terrace with private pool best hotel experience in years great staff lovely food. Only negative is breakfast is not overly suitable for the Irish/English taste but overall I would recommend especially for the location it is ideal.

Finishing my stay at this hotel. When we arrived one of the kind ladies at the reception upgraded us to a room with big balcony that i fall in love instantly (my kids spent evenings there, watching the busy life outside). Shampoo and conditioner in the bathroom are absolute amazing, what is surprising for a 4* hotel. Location is superb (great supermarket next door with literally everything in case you forgot to bring something with you). breakfast was quite rich, pool is small but great for a dip after a day of walking around the city. One big big disappointment for me was pillow. Very hard and not comfortable to sleep on, but the rest of stay was just perfect.

First time in my life that I have a room WITHOUT a window. Horrible. Such a bad experience overshadowwed all the other features of this hotel. Situation/area, breakfast ok, personnel, … For me an impossible stay. With a joke I asked the reception if I had seaview. She answered no you have no view. When I came into the room I inderstood what she meant. It’s not ok not to warn the customers upfront your room has no window at all.

I really like “Catalonia” hotels, and having stayed in Seville just a few days before in another hotel from this brand, I decided to book one night here during a stay over in BCN. First the price: 230€ for one night, without breakfast for a room that HAS NO WINDOWS, is a bit outrageous. They even charge you for the only available bottle of water in the room. Come on…..for 230€ you are going to charge me water? When downstairs you have it for free in reception with lemons? Imagine you wake up thirsty in the middle of the night. Second: Instead of 1 big bed as requested it was 2 small ones made together with the same big sheet, with a hole in the middle tearing them apart in the middle of the night. Plus, 1 very thin sheet only and NO BLANKETS. It was cold at night and nothing to cover myself with… Regardless, the room was still looking very decent and clean. Big TV and a sofa as well. Third: the gym. AVOID THIS GYM ! One of the reasons I booked this place was to be able to workout in the morning. Again no windows here but even worse, not a single mirror. There is 1 basic muscle machine, 1 treadmill, 1 cycle , 1 ely, few weights and that’s it. It’s ridiculously small. 4 people there, 2 waiting 2 actually doing something. Last, the keys..come on. They still use “insert/remove” magnetic cards. Not contactless. After checkin I went out for dinner, 1h after the keys didn’t work. They had to reprogram them. Next day in the morning went out for breakfast, same thing happened. In the reception they admitted that this was an issue that they are already working on a replacement so I think it will be addressed soon. Now good things: the location is great; Goos bar downstairs for a great coffee. Overall really bad for a stop over. I checked in last midnight, asked for a late checkout, they refused saying no places. Paying 230€ to enjoy the hotel for little more than 10h is disappointing.

The location of the hotel is perfect.Only 50 m from plaza Catalunya.The rooms are not big,but they are comfortable,with good decoration,very clean,with every day changing of towels and sheets and rich collection of complimentary teas and coffees.My room (free upgrade)was in 5th floor with balcony,with iron table,chairs and sunbed and view to the plaza.The breakfast was excellent,with many and high quality foods.
