This motel is the closest to the CBD with quite large rooms and comfortable enough beds. There is not a lot of noise from Bourbong St even though it can be quite busy and some locals like to make as much noise in their cars as they can. It’s good value for money. Plenty of off street parking.

Really good little hotel. Clean and for the cost of the room, very good. Close to good pubs and pizza shop which was handy for a one night stay. I believe the new manager has taken the place by the scruff of the neck and tidied it right up as I see some of the other reviews were not great. The new manager has done great here and it would seem it's improved quite a lot since she came on board. So for the negative reviews, they were probably warranted at the time, but as of June 2023, really good. I would definitely stay again.

Pros - good size room with a small table and 2 chairs, a microwave, plates and cutlery, a very pleasant pool area with a BBQ for all to use, comfy bed. Cons- the BBQ was grubby, room servicing was nonexistent, the mirror was dirty, I could write my name in the dust on the toilet roll holder, we ran out of toilet paper and only found a spare roll (after much searching) in the cupboard with the plates and cutlery. The toilet cistern dripped and randomly it’s tap let out a high pitched whine- the only solution was shutting off the water overnight. FYI this was room 3. In spite of the cons, which were minor if annoying, the motel was good value and I’d stay again. I especially appreciated the plates and cutlery so we could get takeaway from Pows Thai a few minutes walk away. It’s also close to the railway station and there’s a bottle shop a few doors away.

First visit to Econo Lodge Park Lane in Bundaberg, good location with onsite restaurant. Friendly greeting at check in which was very easy, and a bonus upgrade as well. Room is very clean, comfortable bed & newly upgraded bathroom with all you require. The onsite restaurant is great, although there are a few restaurants within walking distance. Good quick service, food was very good (Surf & Turf), my steak was a very decent size, which did take a bit longer to cook, but that is understandable. Carpark in front of room, which is great. Very good rates for the rooms available. I will return here and highly recommend this motel.

We stayed in a family room 2 single and 1 queen bed. Great room upstairs with a balcony. Zane in the reception area provided us with a fantastic last minute booking and a smooth check in after a hectic trip from Brisbane. We ordered from the breakfast menu and the food and staff were great. The pool area was very clean and well maintained, it was lovely spending the afternoon there. A large umbrella table provided shade on a hot day. Thank you Zane for providing us with customer service ( helping with my internet connection ) we will be booking again in 2021.Kind Regards The Lancaster Family :)

Uncomfortable bed and pillows, room just feels dirty, pool is green and slimey. Restaurant on-site is not worth the money. There must be better motels for the price, stayed here for work. 2nd stay, there was raw sewerage smell forming from shower recess. I complained to management, in which they said they would fix it. That night I woke up choking from the toxic smell coming from the bathroom a mix of ammonia and raw sewerage, burning my eyes and throat. Next morning having slept with windows wide opened, I complained to management, they offered to move me to another room. They had attempted to fix the smell by using Drano. However at time of checkout they still charged me for 2 bottles of water from the mini-fridge, which I felt was unnecessary as I had to drink them because my throat was burning from the toxic fumes.

The Apartments here are double story, with a garage. they are spacious, modern and have a full kitchen with a full-size fridge. Each apartment has its own washer and dryer which is a huge positive for a worker such as myself. The staff were very friendly, and the premises were cleaned perfectly. If I were to nit pick, and I mean that in the best way, it would be that there are some wear and tear marks on the walls and staircase in the high trafficked areas of the apartment. The pricing was amazing for the product. It is pretty much opposite Sugarland shopping centre, and whilst outside of the main body of the town, it is still conveniently located within walking distance to major and minor food outlets, cinemas and grocery stores. Being out of town a couple of kilometres, it made the traffic noise basically undetectable. I thank the staff for their concern when I took ill and went to the hospital overnight, and they went out of the way to assist me with any queries I had. Well done.

EemilyreiddTravelled from Brisbane to stay here for a friends wedding on the weekend, I’m really loving this apartment so much, I don’t want to leave! The customer service from Sharon & Her Husband seriously go above and beyond. They are so accommodating, so friendly, easy to get along with, just really down to earth people. The room is spectacular, very clean, comfy beds, I especially loved the detailed features they put in the rooms, like Austar & Night Lights. I cannot flaw this apartment and stay at all. Highly recommend, will definitely be coming back. Thanks guys!

GGuest UserThe hotel's swimming pool is good. It's open until nine o'clock in the evening. It's a favorite of children. You can walk to the beach in five minutes along the back door of the hotel. The sand is fine and the scenery is beautiful. The wind and waves are strong. It's not suitable for swimming. It's nice to walk along the coast.
