Quite a basic and functional room. Opens to outdoor area. Has indoor and outdoor pools and a fitness room/gym. Amazingly powerful shower and clean high spec hotel common areas. A solid 3 star hotel with free parking as a bonus for this area.

I was asked to arrange a lunch for the local Parkinson’s group. Having visited with my husband for lunch in the bar we felt this would be the perfect place. From my first contact with Darcie everything went smoothly. She was very helpful and went over and above to guide me through. The staff on the day were friendly and polite. I had several messages saying how enjoyable the occasion was. Thank you.

Nice hotel within 15 minutes walk to the town centre. We had a room overlooking the outside pool, it was clean and nicely furnished. We didn’t use the indoor pool as there were quite a few children in there ( it was Easter holidays so this was to be expected) however my husband used the gym and was very impressed with the facilities. Would book again

We received an upgraded room on arrival due to a wedding celebration taking place which was close to our room. Our room however was quite noisy anyway due to facing the industrial unit next door who were working from early until quite late at night. Also the heating was very noisy at various points. Staff were all pleasant at reception and in the bar. The room was spacious, clean and the bed was comfortable.

I was confident that this being a Brend hotel, that I could rely on the quality. I was right, staff, breakfast, room in general, good. One constructive comment I hope, the bathroom and balcony area/ door/ windows need upgrading to make the stay special. Those areas are dated and tired.

We came across this hotel by chance with a deal on B&B and it exceeded our expectations. The reception staff were very polite, the room excellent and the pool a lovely way to relax before dinner. Dinner itself was excellent with very polite service. We'd happily book again.

We stayed two nights so we could meet our niece and new baby. The staff were so helpful and friendly. The restaurant staff were excellent at understanding allergies and providing food appropriately. Best hotel we have stayed in for this awareness. The health club was an unexpected treat especially as the outside pool was warm. Plenty of sun loungers and tables and chairs outside. The only disappointment was that no bar food was available (apart from crisps and chocolate) after 2pm until the evening. Something to be aware of if you have been travelling. But overall highly recommended.
