We had a horrible stay at this hotel! We checked in at 2 AM from an 8-hour drive from Alberta to BC. We chose this hotel to take a break from a long drive. We usually don't complain, but is place is sneaky. They gave us a room that has a broken air conditioner. We also passed by a room that was open because the guests had the same problem. There is no hotel assistance after business hours. You have to ring the buzzer (Intercom on the wall), and they can't even help you. We have 2 little kids who kept crying because the room is so hot! After about an hour of agony, my wife and I decided to sleep in the car instead. We don't want to disturb their other guests. So, I called the guy on the INTERCOM and said Bali (Manager) is going to be there at 7 AM. We waited in the car until 7 AM but no one is at the front desk except the housekeeper. She told me that the manager would arrive in the afternoon, but the restaurant person can help me she said to wait until 8AM. Waited until 8AM and spoke to that person and she told me to wait in the afternoon. So, we have decided not to stay and just continue driving instead of wasting our time. We asked for a refund but they insist to give it back due to Covid?? Another lame excuse! So, blah blah blah.. they finally give us some refund but not the full amount. Avoid staying in the place! This hotel will take a 1-star review for $92.92, so cheap that they can't afford to fix their AC. And, I feel like they have bed bugs because we were scratching when we were on the bed. Lastly, they don't care about the review anyways.
