Barrow-in-Furness

I am currently staying at the Premier Inn in Barrow and I am having a wonderful experience. The reception staff—Emma, Paula, Shelley, and Ryan have been incredibly friendly and helpful throughout my stay. Kerry, the head of housekeeping, has ensured that everything has been spotlessly clean and comfortable. However, it has been Amy who has truly stood out. She has gone above and beyond by arranging a very early breakfast for us, taking the initiative on her own. Her dedication has made my stay even more enjoyable. I highly recommend this hotel for its exceptional service and attentive staff mentioned above.

Whenever we travel as a family, the first place we usually look is with Premier Inn. There's nothing super fancy but they generally provide a consistent experience - pleasant and attentive staff, clean and tidy rooms with decent facilities, super easy booking and there's usually a restaurant available. Stopped a couple of nights while visiting friends in the area. Didn't spend a great deal of time at the hotel except at night but it provided everything we needed. Very convenient location.

Amy,Emma,Paula and Kerry have been absolutely fantastic with us lads (staying here for local railway work) anything we have needed they all have no hesitation to help us, doing our washing for us helping us with wifi connectivity absolutely anything we’ve needed they’ve all bent over backwards for us. Especially Amy for coming in on her nights off to cook us breakfast (ready for our 4:00am shift start) Amy especially has gone above and beyond to cater for us and her efforts will not go unrecognised the girls here have made our stay an absolute dream, All the crown lads appreciate everything they have done for us so far. You would be silly to stay anywhere else as this is the best service i have received from a hotel.

Great value Premier inn, stayed fri x sat nights Very conveniently situated, very comfy beds x pillows. Spotlessly clean, spacious room. Lovely staff, very helpful and friendly, gave us ideas as to where to eat locally. Was very convenient for day trips to Coniston and Ulverston.

I have been visiting the Barrow Premier Inn on business trips for over 4 years now, The team are great, friendly and helpful especially the receptionists Amy & Emma who go the extra mile to make you feel welcome. The hotel is kept to a high standard of cleanliness and I always get a good nights rest.

Was a great stay, hospitality was amazing! The staff at the premier inn aswell as the restaurant next door were great. Food was very nice great service, time for the food was very good. The staff even prepared us a goodie bag breakfast since we were leaving for work so early!

We did not sleep well during our stay and this was detrimental to our rest and readiness for the next day. There were multiple ongoing noises the entire night that sounded like air-conditioning units, extractor fans etc. This was despite us turning every single thing in the room off and removing the key card from the wall. My husband went to reception to report this but there was no suitable alternative room to move us to. They said they had logged our issue. It was extremely disappointing and kept both myself and my husband as well as our 6 year old niece awake for various time frames in the night. We were only staying for one night and it just felt like a total let down to our trip as we were all knackered the next day. We are not ridiculously light sleepers, the noises were loud!!!

I've stayed in many Premier Inns across the country, and this one is one of the best. Why? Because of the staff. I received a call a few days before we were due to arrive, just to say hello and ask if we had any special requirements for our visit. On arrival the same lady was on reception, and again was really friendly and also professional. I had the same experience when we checked out with another member of the team. The hotel is in a really quiet location, and we had a great night's sleep. There were plenty of parking spaces, and there was no additional parking charge. As expected, the room was clean and comfortable, which is why we often choose Premier Inn when travelling. Would definitely stay here again - many thanks!

Really good experience. We had the quad room, 2 adults with 2 children under 5 and a baby. Room was spacious and clean, no issues at all. Staff were incredibly friendly and helpful and there was a restaurant next door, we had food on one evening and breakfast the next day, all reasonably priced and really good quality.
