My family had a great time in Hampshire Court Hotel and Spa. The reception staff were excellent and super friendly. I could not thank them enough for moving us to a bigger room as I made a mistake of booking a smaller room for me, my husband and daughter. The room that we were moved into had a large balcony, nespresso machine, drinks on the house and comfortable bed
The location is perfect and superb. It’s a 4 minute walk to a shopping centre and 5 minute walk and 10 minute drive to Festival mall. You’ll definitely won’t run out of options on what to eat. But most importantly, there are so many interesting place to visit nearby like The Vyne National Trust and Basingstoke Aquadrome to name a few
The facilities such as swimming pool and spa facilities were clean, well maintained provide excellent service. Overall, we enjoyed our 2 night stay for a very reasonable price!

Staff were a little grumpy and room was a little old; carpet could have done with replacing. My room backed onto behind the building where apparently staff hung out or smoked, I heard a lot of loud conversations that I probably shouldn’t! Beds were comfy and they were fine with me bringing my cat, which was the main reason I chose it. Not terrible, not wonderful, did the job.

An excellent stay at this hotel. Room was good, aircon very effective. Food was very good indeed. The team working here are fantastic, very helpful indeed. Lianne was particularly good, as were the team in the restaurant and bar.

We had a great day, the facilities were lovely and it was all very reasonably priced. I had a great back massage and facial from Susan, who certainly made me feel very comfortable, as it was my first time. The treatments we received were lovely, as was the food.

Room was nice and pillows were great this time but showers are a bit hit and miss. If you lower them (cause you are short) and also don’t want to wash your hair the head goes in every direction except your body and doesn’t help. I suppose a shower cap would help but there wasn’t one.

My friend and I used this spa with a Wowcher deal and found booking with the spa excellent, the staff on the phone were very accommodating and made things easy for us. The staff were super friendly and inviting, the lunch was lovely and we thoroughly enjoyed. The spa treatments received by Ida and Susan were amazing, really relaxing. Only downside is that the hotel could do with a spruce, modernising. I would consider coming back in the future.

Booked traditional cream tea for me and my friends to enjoy my birthday celebrations and well the tea was offered as soon as we sat down but 1 hour 20 mins later we still had not had our food! We were so wrapped up in catching up we did not realise this time had passed countless staff walked around but did not come over. I went to the bar and was greeted by a very unhappy staff member who thought I interpreted his task of sorting the cutlery out by asking where is our food, he walked off without saying a word. 3 mins later 2 stands come out so it was obvious they were sat back in the kitchen and was not given to us absolutely awful. Then when it came to pay the guy behind the bar said I do not know how to do the payment for cream tea so you will have to wait for the manager! This is a 4 star hotel we were paying guests just like others paying in the hotel clearly your event going on was more important that spa and normal customers not staying at your hotel. I asked for a discount off per person we received but £25 person at the level of service was too high change your prices to match your service or provide better service. I will not be recommending this hotel at all. Get new staff who are happy to serve paying customers.

Great value spa package. Had a spacious room with balcony, a spa treatment, dinner, breakfast and a drink for approx £100 per person. Spa area very relaxed. But restaurant and bar lacked any atmosphere. All staff helpful and polite. Especially the guy on reception.
