We weren't too sure about this hotel with it being above a fuel station, however, we're glad we trusted the previous reviews. Warm welcome when we arrived before being shown to the room with explanations of how everything operated. Room had all you need with coffee machine and complimentary water, good air-con, and powerful shower in bathroom. Shop underneath was really handy and just bought fresh pastries from there for breakfast. Free parking and only a short 5-minute walk to all the bars, restaurants, and attractions. Would definitely stay here again.

I will admit that we were initially put off by the look and location of the Le Merceny Motel as it's located above a shop/cafe which is also a petrol station. However, the rooms are not affected by this at all and are very comfortable and nice and quiet. Bed and bath rooms are nice and big, bed are comfortable, but very small.

This small hotel had everything we needed. The room was clean, air conditioned, and large by European standards. I do not believe there is an elevator. We had read previous reviews so we were prepared for it to be connected to a convenience store. That was not a problem and we were able to park in front of the hotel door. The staff was very friendly.

I had made the reservations here but hadn't told my SO where we would be staying so, when we drove into town and the GPS took us to the gas station, he was somewhat skeptical of what I had "gotten us into." But, as it turned out, both of us were delighted with the choice. The room was small but adequate and we liked the somewhat "industrial" design of the bathroom. That we were above not only a gas station but a very well stocked convenience store turned out to be a plus. No looking around for snacks or gas before we started our day. Very quiet. Easy walk to restaurants in the center of town. The only down side was spotty wifi. It is in the reception area, but you have no access to that after 10:00PM so our unreliable room wifi was of no use.

Although this was part of a gas station/convenience store, it was quiet. The room was larger than most in Europe. It was clean, a/c worked well and we felt safe in our room. It was quite a hike from one of the bus stations and the people hanging out around the station/store were a little sketchy. Check-in was quick and the receptionist was very nice, carrying our luggage up the stairs and to the room.

Best Motel/store
The food options was small, but Was good I don’t eat a lot. Rooms was very comfortable great internet. Best part a store down stairs.
The office manager was outstanding, greated us well.

The hotel is a multifaceted business located perfectly in walking distances to museums and restaurants. The businesses have a lot of activities going throughout the day, but they didn't affect us. It was very quiet at night. There are only a few rooms available. Each room was spacious and had a small refrigerator. The hall light turns on by motion, which is not great in the middle of the night as the light brightens the whole room up. What stands out the most is the friendliness of the whole staff. They really wanted to make our experience great and went out of their way to make our stay wonderful. Our experience in Bastogne was fabulous.
