Meh. When I was check in, I was issued a key and noticed it was on first floor. I asked for higher floor room and was told there were no more but someone arrived less than five minutes after me and got a higher floor room. Felt lied to although being on first floor wasn’t such a big deal I tend to like to be higher for safety since it’s me and a small child. Next up: I could tell if the floor needed mopping or if they have permanent stains and vinyl flooring needs relaxing altogether so room was possibly dirty although overall the property you can tell does a lot of bleaching and sanitizing because shared facilities felt clean. Room size and layout was very nice. Liked having the extended desk and lots of lights and the configuration of the tv and automatically having a fridge and microwave. The next issue was with a request to get towels sent to my room. After thirty minutes of waiting, I called back and was told they were to busy and I could just walk up and get my towels. Didn’t like that at all. The receptionist must have felt bad because she did accommodate my late checkout request by enrolling my in their loyalty program. This final thing is out of control of this hotel but it would be nice if all the Holiday Inn roper ties had non-pork meat options. I tey enjoy the ones that have Turkey bacon and sausage etc. makes the breakfast experience so much better. This one did not. Overall: meh. Could be better but the hotel did look better at least on exterior than competition
