It is an old hotel, but it is well maintained and it is connected to a modern life style, near local culinary and having a good entertainment with roof top bar. This was our first time staying at Lovina Inn coz we wanted to try some place other than our favourite hotel in Batam Centre. We had no expectation, knowing that this is a 3-star establishment. Arrived CNY eve and check-in was smooth. Room was simple and clean - looked like it had been recently renovated. First thing that went wrong was to find a pillar in the room (see photo). This was ok until my wife had her skirt snagged on a sharp corner of an aluminum strip separating the different coloured panels on this pillar. I checked and found all the aluminium strips has sharp corners each capable of not only snagging clothes but also cutting human skin. These were set at various levels so that legs, midriffs and faces of the unwary could be cut. I raised this complaint to reception, they sent a housekeeping staff to examine the hazard, and then....nothing, absolutely nothing, was done for the entire duration of our stay. Ironically, a similar pillar in the lobby had all the sharp edges on its aluminium strips filed smooth. The other hazard in the room was the shower head. The water pressure in the bathroom was pathetic from the sink tap - a mere trickle, with no hot water whatever. On the other hand the shower water pressure was a torrent and could get very hot. Sadly the shower screen covered only half the width of the opening so taking a shower meant that the rest of the bathroom was flooded. It didn't help either that the screen had a gap with the wall and the bathroom floor sloped away from the shower area. To minimise the flood one has to stand close to the shower while keeping the water flow moderate. Unfortunately, this results in the shower tap often being inadvertently pushed by one's body resulting in the ill-fitted shower head flying off the holder and crashing to the floor, sometimes hitting one's head first (ouch!!!) The hotel also promised complimentary toiletries (plural). All that was provided was a wall-mounted shower wash which (I assume) doubles as shampoo.The wall dispenser often got stuck when pressed and had to be pried out before it could be used again. Altogether, having a shower in this hotel is an adventure never to be forgotten. We had opted for the daily breakfast even though previous reviews had warned that the selection is limited and unchanging. The first morning was acceptable albeit with limited selection. We had not expected much from a 3-star hotel. When the hotel began to fill up over the holiday weekend we found on the second day that by the time we came down for breakfast, all we had left was coffee/tea with bread/toast & spreads.This was at 9am - breakfast is supposed to be from 6-10am. Raising a complaint to both serving or reception staff was met with resigned sighs. There was no top-up; the kitchen had not been sufficiently prepared for the influx of guests. Hotel 01 Batam is the most unique Hotel, Interesting n very different from the norm.Egyptian theme decor with beautiful painting on the wall .Day time looks so bright n is great for Instagram photos. Nite time mysterious n so serene. 2nd stay there n is highly recommended as staff are pleasant , place very clean n is also reasonable.Location wise very good 5 mins Batam Ferry , Mega n Batam 1 mall. Worth a visit to this unique hotel.

My second time here... and this time with my mum. Service and staff were very friendly and approachable, even for my mum who doesn't speak fluent English, they were all kind and friendly towards her. There were knocking noises randomly above the ceiling, and the staff is kind enough to arrange us for another room. Appreciates the help. Only two issues which I find it annoying, first I saw guest in their tshirts or even non-swimmers use the swimming pool to soak their feet, and two of them even ”play” in the pool without proper swimming attire. Well, I use the swimming pool (and gym) at the hotel and intended to use it, so when I saw the family with improper attire at the pool during my breakfast, made me change plan. I meant soaking their feet at the pool... and i had to swim in it. Besides, the painter has been there for 2 days? Smelling turpentine during swimming after every stroke.. can be quite unpleasant. Gym facilities are good, and had quite a crowd compare to other hotels ive been to. However, I guess the air-conditioning of the room can be better, as the weather are getting warmer, the heat can be strong after an workout. What I really like is the play room for children, and the view in the morning. Breakfast is good, lots of varieties.

I and my wife finally booked and had a chance to stay in Harmoni One Hotel. It was a crowded and busy place before covid-19 outbreak. Proud to see how this hotel still struggle to survive, but also sad at the same time witnessing how empty and quite this place now. Harmoni One still operates hotel room for guesses at 2nd floor. We heard and saw 1-2 other guess at our floor. We stayed in Room 210, deluxed room including breakfast. with wide glass window facing to under construction of Batam One Mall and bushes of surrounding old area. Checked in 5/May/2021 for a nght stay. Thank you to Ms. Rita, he front desk staff who was kindl assited us during check in and make sure our needs in the room is fulfilled. Hotel building looks luxury, located close to Lottemart and Sundanese Warung. Room was spacious, with king size bed, sofa bed ,furniture, mini bar, complimentary coffee/tea and water kettle. Surprising to have a bathtub...so the toilet itself has almost half of bed room's size. However, we understood this hotel is not new, so old carpet smell is unavoided. Internet was good and strong. Room has tv cable with 40 local and foreign channels. They served the breakfast by ala carte menu for main course and fruits, and let bread/toast, juices, coffee/tea stall open for self service. Nasi goreng was good and tasty. The staffs on duty and 1 high shool trainee available on-spot to help. Swimming pool and fitness center at 6th floor are open 9AM-6PM, but we did not try it because this place seems not attended by any staff. We can sleep well in the room. Very good experience for my first time staying at Ando. Selected Ando after reading good reviews and on my arrival, didn’t know that Nagoya Mall is just a walking distance away. About 2 minutes across the road, and not forgetting there’s a convenience store next door. Did my proper check-in and gotten my room around 5 plus after doing my nails and did some shopping too. As my newly bought slipper (hook) came off, the staff provided me with the cable ties to securely salvage my shoe. Credits to the staff on duty on Saturday night. Will definitely book here again for my next trip. Side tip: Always go for grab and its very accessible!

Tonight is our last night here in Eska. All good. Water heater, thick towels(some hotel's has very thin towels), hairdryer. A/C was working well. Mini fridge was ok. Not that cold. No funky smell in the room & bathroom, clean. Lobby is clean. Housekeeping team was great. Breakfast platter was good too. The bed was not bad($40+, yeah). Only the pillows thou. I find it quite flat. Haha. And Kepri Mall is permanently closed. So, its little quiet. I would suggest to get yourself a prepaid card for data*get a bigger Gb, if you likes watching Netflix or videos*. Just to standby. Hehe! We arrived on the Friday afternoon, Wifi connection, TV was all fine. But, when we came back that night prolly around 10pm ish. there is no Wifi connection at all till the next mrng. But now, 12.38am, Sat night. Wifi was good. Idk whether the connection or what. I just used up my data yesterday😅 to surf the internet. We didnt try the spa here, because we had our regular massage place else where. And theres a restraunt at the roof top. Very nice. But didnt get a chance to sit there, as its raining. Yeaa. Overall, worth the stay. Only the Wifi thingy.

The best ever Hotel and it's my always first choice when come to Batam. Perfect cleanliness, the room is so comfortable. The feeling of enjoyment during holiday especially with family. The staff are firiendly and helpful. The look presentable and proffesional. The receptionist ms. Cahaya & ms. Ega are beautiful and will make you feel like comes again. Lastly i will never forget the moment in Santika Batam & Santika Garut till now. Santika will always be my best hotel ever.

Good place for a quick overnight stay as it is very near the batam ferry centre. Also near to the batam centre megamall which is good for clothes shopping and dining options. Staff are energetic, friendly and helpful. The breakfast buffet includes a morning dance performance by staff and a birthday cake slice and song if it is your birthday, which we found interesting. Breakfast buffet is replenished constantly. Rooms are cozy and shower is good, with good temperature control on shower heater. Soap, shampoo, toothbrushes, toothpaste are provided. Welcome drinks are also given at check in, and signing up for a membership will entitle you to a set of gift juice drinks and some gift chocolates. Customer service is good.

Mine was a business trip for 3months.PanBil is one of the best hotels in Batam.Rooms were well maintained.But as am from India I would suggest PanBil to serve Indian Foods (Idly,Dosa varieties)We were more than 20ppls staying in Panbil. Things to improve 1) Transport Facility 2)Serve Indian Food Murdani and Nuri are so responsible in their duties.I would give them 5stars
